120k a year isn’t enough

Look Ras works a ton. If you don't carry water for Putin 24/7 you may find yourself falling out an open window, drinking strange tea, or having to go to camp in Siberia. It's a tough life for him.
He sounds like a walking OSHA violation waiting to happen. I guess 12 hrs a day 7 days a week just can’t hang with his big dog group 😂

I've worked more 80+ hour weeks in my life than I care to remember, just something that had to be done to earn my bones. Now I don't have to.
Yep exactly. I’ve done the same thing just as I was referring to in the email that Billy badass replied to. 84 hrs is 12 hrs per day 7 days a week. I’ve done that quite a bit when I was younger. It was what we had to do and is quite common on flight test still. And my mental faculties weren’t at their best after a couple of weeks of it.

But when you pull 14+ hrs a day 7 days a week I couldn’t keep my brain sharp. Not enough time to recover via sleep and eating. Keep in mind we’re out on a test range firing LASER weapons and dropping guided munitions. It’s a recipe to get someone hurt or even killed.

Now that I’m pushing 60 I can’t see a scenario where I’d ever be doing this again. Get another young stupid kid and abuse them.

2010 flood I started working that Saturday or Sunday night (can't remember what day it started) and other than a nap in the pickup here and there it was continuous until that following Sunday evening. Wife woke me up in the driveway with the truck still running, don't remember going home. Made the hell out of some money that week.

That's scary.

I’ve done some 96 and 120 hour weeks in EMS, but I slept through a decent amount of it. Not sure if that counts

Sounds like you had your mental faculties all in order all week then! I guess you can run with the bad asses 😂

Back when I was a junior bird man engineer i can remember falling asleep in the shower while thinking over a design problem. I figured out the solution in my sleep dreaming about it. 😂

I never want to work like that again. Ever.

I think that’s the only way you can do it. If you are one that can actually get rest via quick naps I’d guess that keeps your brain somewhat functioning. 🤷‍♂️

Nope, don't think I could if I wanted to.

My gawd... what a pampered career. Only worked 90 hours once? And then you popped off to the managers? You sound like one of these millennials you guys complain about.

This is the most gangsta post I have ever seen from you. Bravo playa!

I may have cracked 80 hours once, and I was probably intoxicated for most of it.

Now I go to SXSW as an obnoxious patron.

Who the fk wants to work 80 or 90 hours in a week?
No one "wants" to.

Use your imagination for a minute. Can you really not think of any jobs where you would have to put in 80+ hours? I don’t mean people working on an assembly line making widgets necessarily.
