One of my old friends from back home, Laurence Bowers, was my host, explained Williams, who was accompanied on his visit by his parents. (Bowers) knew my brother very well, and he worked with me when I was younger. So, I knew him, and we talked about a lot of things. He gave me the tour.
Coming in, (Missouri) pretty much shocked me, said Williams, speaking of his impression of Missouri. They have great facilities. The coaching is great. I mean, their style of play, four out and one in, that seems like my type of game. They have a great strength and condition guy. The campus is pretty nice, too.
Missouri has great fans, from what I saw of them, said Williams, who was able to attend the Missouri-Georgia football game.
Williams said that his parents liked the Missouri coaching staff, and the Missouri program.

Coach Edwards said that he compares Williams to a young Lamar Odom.
Hes a lefty, said Coach Edwards, describing Williams game. He handles it. He shoots the ball well from the three, mid-range, as well as on the inside. Hes a good passer. He likes to lead the break. Hell get the board and lead the break.
During the summer, Williams plays for Memphis YOMCA.
Coach Edwards said that there has been a parade of college coaches through his gym this week.
Williams, who goes by the nickname J3, has also taken an official visit to Georgetown, and has plans to take official visits to Tennessee (9-14), Michigan State (9-28), and Texas (10-12).
Williams isnt sure when hell make a decision, and he said that hes really still pretty open. He said that hell probably sign in November, or he may wait until the spring.
