13' PF Johnathan Williams III

being that you are the "crème de la crème" of quoting other posters, retrieving my post shouldn't be an issue for you.

You want the quote where you said you'd leave the site if they come to UT?

Edit:
Nevermind you already found it, thought it included j3, guess not. However you've said that he's a georgetown lock, so guess that means according to you he's not coming here. So UT has to land 2 of the 3 for you to dissapear?

JW3 and his dad think he's a small forward.

Not sure that is realistic.

Either way, Memphis recruited Nick King as a small forward. It would be counterproductive for Memphis to recruit a local player if there's a disagreement right off the bat over what position he should play. Thus, Memphis and JW3 have parted ways.

I'd say CCM is ok with the idea of him playing some 3, or atleast that point forward which J2 has said he likes.

Fwiw he was straight shooting lights out on the TBA court yesterday.

I don't mind disappearing if i'm wrong but would you disappear if i'm correct?

I know a permanent separation is too much for a guy like you, how about 30 day sabbatical?

I've not said that if so and so happens I'll leave, that was you. I'm just trying to clarify what those terms where since its getting to be about that time.

Name how many 6-9 guys play the 3 in college. It's a short list.

If he doesn't have the toughness or desire to play in the post, his college career will be a disappointment.

I've seen J3 play from his freshman year on up. Clearly the kid has the physical attibutes to play inside or out but no desire to play down low. Last year he scored 4pts in a regional playoff loss to Memphis ridgeway. They played zone and at 6'8 he played on the wing. I saw a kid 6'3 play down where J3 should have been. You hate to question a person heart so I'll just say he has no desire to play down low and bang.

I haven't said its a long list I dont recall... Harrison Barnes comes to mind though as being one, also Darius Miller, perry jones lll (6'11") and Quincy miller (6'10") all come to mind as guys that size that played perimeter ball just last year.

However he has expressed an interest in playing a point forward position and that's something that works in CCMs offenses. The biggest question becomes can he defend the 4 or be quick enough to defend the 3.

You sure it wasn't Hubbs? I watched till they walked off the court and I don't even think JW3 shot 8 threes.

Then you missed something, j3 made atleast 8 in a row at some point, the crowd for progressively louder and louder with each make. He started around the top of the arch and worked around to the baseline.

From a Memphis commercial appeal writer...

“@JohnMartinCA: Johnathan Williams III's father, Johnny, on his Tennessee visit: "It was fired up. It was a great visit and it felt like a family affair."”

Wow, can't believe I missed that, I was really watching Hubbs tho I guess.

How'd you get that up so fast.
Was watching the site, it came in, went to let the dog in and you had it up when I came back.

You get Jones to Louisville and Ringer most likely gamecocks yet?

Just getting into this twitter stuff. Might be addictive.

It is, especially if you follow the right people.

Jones to Louisville is basically a done deal, CCM never even inquired.

As for Ringer, we let that one go awhile ago too. He never really recovered to what he was before his injury...he is down to South Carolina and MERCER.
