Last yr everyone on here wanted this kid. Now y'all say he's basically not any good. Funny.
Lol, whatever man. So Dyer has a great freshman year, but does average at best in his comeback year. Yeah let's just ignore the facts.
Just as well, Green didn't do much as a freshman, but could very well turn out to be a good back.
For once, I agree with breakerboy. If he isn't good enough to break the starting line up at one school, why would we want him at UT??
I'd take him. Better than having walk ons taking up those schollies. Dave Lawson would whip him into shape. Lots of potential. This is a good way to get your 3rd back without taking up current class spot
You are the one that suggested wanting Dyer in the SUMMER meant that one also has to want green now.
Like I said its easy.
This summer there wasn't proof dyer had lost it.
There is some serious doubt this guy is too heavy to be Elite
I didn't say if you wanted Dyer you HAD to want Green. I was calling a double standard on those who were willing to overlook gun and drug charges for Dyer, yet saying they don't want Green because he's a diva or "me" player. That's all.
Off the field issues I agree. The few post i saw didn't say off the field issues were the point of discussion.
My apologies
They must be included IMO.without them we wouldn't have even been discussing Dyer coming here. I didn't here anyone not wanting Dyer because he originally chose Auburn. But some don't want Green because he "had his chance", and chose Michigan. Lol.
If one doesn't think he's an elite back and wants to pass, I can respect that. But the other claims IMO are straight up sour grapes. I personally think he could be a good back if sharing the load with a dude like Hurd.
No need for appologies man, you good. Several 70+hr work weeks for me, so I'm probably not doing a good job of explaining myself, lol.
That's retarded. If you have an open spot, why couldn't you take transfers? It was possible that we were approaching the 85 limit when we got Bullard.
