O. Brown looks like a monster. Not easy to make D. Hendrix look small.

Orlando Brown*didn’t have a perfect day but he showed enough to impress. He’s a massive left tackle prospect that’s 6-foot-8, 340-pounds. This*Tennessee*Volunteer commitment from the Peach State is long and has good feet. He shows good balance and the ability to slide in pass protection. He’s far from complete but has a ton of upside. Brown needs to hit the weights and bulk up.

-Jamie Newberg, scout

Sounds more like a RT prospect to me.

Brown looks absolutely nasty! He has planted his man 3 times on the opening drive. They have lined up a couple different guys opposite him w same result

With the way this kid has transformed his body, and watching his performance tonight, I'm WAY more excited about his future as a Vol.

Brown looked better than I thought he would look. He needs to keep working on his weight and make sure his classroom in taken care of. His work last night was better than what film I saw on him earlier this fall.

The effort he put it to transform his body should be a good indicator of his dedication. I think all the scouts and evaluators agree that physically he has tons of potential. For him to put it the work it took to transform his body before he ever got out of high school usually indicates a player who is going to put in the work to reach his ceiling. That makes him a very exciting player for the future.

I think he is appropriately rated by Rivals as a 5.7 3*. A lot of potential, but looked absolutely brutal at times in pass protection.

I hope Blair stays two years. Then OBJr and a few other could compete for LT. I still think Jr works best on the right, but the Semper Fi game might have changed my thoughts a bit. I know to take that games with a grain of salt, but he is a monster out there. Either way I agree he won't likely play until his RS So season.

Hopefully we'll land Richmond and he can learn for a year behind Blair before taking over.
