Imo Butch is the one who passed judgement. I didn't dismiss the kid from the football program. Butch did in Sept. I just don't see a reason for me to try and come up with a reason to say we need him back after what he did. You can if you like. That's on you.

Butch DID NOT pass judgement. He suspended the kid pending the outcome. He did this out of caution and because of the domestic violence issues from athletes were prominent in the news. Unlike other coaches (Jimbo Fisher), Butch chose to suspend him until it was determined that he was wrong. He did the same thing with AJ.

Oh, and by the way, thanks for making my point for me. :thumbsup:

Pending what outcome? It was not going to trial. She refused to press charges. She refused the DAY it all happened even though she had the injuries. Nothing was going to change in the "outcome". Butch got the story. Butch listened to what people had to say who were there. He then dismissed, not suspend Paulk.

Imo if he allows Paulk back, it has nothing to do with him not having done it. Its needing depth and maybe enough time has passed to try and slip him back in there.

I have no idea as to whether he can rejoin the team. What we don't know is whether he has sought professional help or what conditions were placed on him in order for him to be considered for reinstatement. Much of the we would never be privy to know.

I know you are very proud of yourself as a poster but let me clue you in on something, very few share that opinion. I know what you're going to say, your going to say it's not easy going against popular opinion. Popular opinion is when your in the majority. Majority constitutes over 50% you're opinions are shared by like 1%. You need to get off your high horse IMO.

I don't ask anyone to share in my opinion. I don't mind being in the 1 percent. Keeps things interesting around here.

Emmanuel Moseley was committed to Charlotte. Its not like the kid is going to be the feature back next yr. let him develop for a couple years. He actually doesnt look that bad.

i may not always agree with things our staff does in recruiting but one thing i dont question at all is their ability to evaluate talent.

I tend to believe Deerpark. If his version is true and Paulk punched her in the face and teammates had to pull him off of her, I'd prefer his second chance be elsewhere. Butch has things rolling, no need for unwarranted scrutiny and criticism that he reinstated Paulk simply because of a need at the position.

Jmo.

He said that a good while ago as I recall and he said the reason was that Adidas was willing to pay us as a top five school and Nike wasn't. Obviously something changed.

I think Deerpark has proven to be mostly right and so I tend to believe him. You may not and that's fine too.
