I would not say we do not get him. If he comes out of this visit w/out commiting to them then I say we have a decent chance even with the Johnsin commitment. Remember he is one of the top LB in the nation.

Eh, we had a picture of Carl Lawson in a UT jersey last year. So I don't know if I would take anything from the picture. But I always have felt we are on the outside looking in here. Needed more wins this year IMO to pull him.

The Johson commit was likely an acknowledgement that we weren't going to get him. Maybe like Owen Williams was an acknowledgement that we were out of the picture with Lamin and Reed.

I knew us losing to 4 straight to Bamer, Mizzou, Auburn and Vandy would make CBJ's sales pitch a much, much harder sell.

So perhaps LSU gets the best LB in the class. Overall we have the best LB class. And yes I wanted Garrett real bad (no homo).

I wish Garrett well if he chooses LSU. He is an exceptional player and he will be working under an exceptional DC. However, if he goes that route he has to know in advance that he will get his azz kicked when our Vols meet up with them in the SECCG. He may want to think it through carefully.
