This. I still think he's overrated on 247. That doesn't mean he won't be good though. A lot of high 3*-medium 4* guys turn out really well.

Maybe we got some bad news about Mosley? Seeing as how Bama was interested in Elam too we could be turning from Mosley now...I don't know this is odd to me. Wasn't it said that we weren't really interested in this guy because he was too slow or something?

Maybe. I bet we still recruit Mosley even if he were to commit to Bama

He's middle of the pack for DTs, probably on Obrien level. Definitely a take, but nowhere near #10 in the country. 5.8 IMO.

I dont care how how much recruiting momentum Kentucky has, as a recruit you have to know its only a temporary fad that will fade because Kentucky is Kentucky.. They will always be a basketball school that will forever be the bottom dweller of bottom dwellers in the SEC..

A new coach and recruiting momemtum won't change the fact that they'll be lucky to win 3 games this year... So hopefully these kids will wake up and realize they're voluntarity walking into a program where their chance at being successful is so incredibly thin, regardless of how good this recruiting class is on paper..

Doubt that they take Mosley and Elam. TW can weigh in on that. If they get Mosley, I'm confident we can pull Elam if we want him, when UK inevitably sucks.

Agree. Seems like he's mostly 1 on 1 against kids that appear to be 100lbs lighter. Definitely a bull against his competition though.

not TW but from reading our sites it is pretty obvious that Elam has been our #1 target at DT for a while and he is a take no matter what. Elam may not be a great fit for UT because he is more of a 3-4 guy it seems, which would explain the possibe lack of interest from yall.

CM - it is up in the air about if we will take him or not. Different opinions out there but all seem to agree it depends on who else commits at this point.

From what I've seen, Vic reaches out to a lot of recruits. Even as far as telling recruits to commit when they don't have an offer. So I seriously doubt Butch and sending him direct messages telling him who he should go after. In fact, I'd almost bet that's a recruiting violation. Just like the whole "UT Power Hour" thing, these kids aren't stupid so no need to sell them short because some of us think "Butch told them to do it".

The only one I know of is mcclisse and that's debatable. We don't know really. I wouldn't put it past butch at all to include the commits on info about who to apply pressure to. Some of us thinking it is no less valid than those who do not.

Has been offered that he maybe fits a 3-4 scheme better than Butch's 4-3. Other than that, no one seems to know.
