"Unleash the Tantrum". Does kind of have a ring to it.

Could be a way to get the crowd into the game as well - a call on fans to lose total control in the stands.

I don't agree with you on much, but I see your point here.

Of course, if you really are trolling you've found an absolute gold mine of an audience because this is the exact same thing you said about the "red team" stuff and everybody is getting in line to have the same argument over again:

Just because it's not the truth doesn't mean other coaches won't try to use it against us.

Any angle can be sold. It's pointless to bring it up. Good recruiters have an answer for any angle. Wouldn't you agree this staff has proven to be at the very least good recruiters?

If you don't think having Hurd committed along with our current roster isnt being used against us then you don't understand recruiting.

Certainly not saying it means we cant win this or any other RB recruiting battle just that its an obstacle.

If you don't think any angle possible is being used against every recruit you don't understand recruiting. In other news, water is wet.

What's your reasoning this guy isn't talked about very strongly as being a member of the class??


IMO it's having Hurd committed and we didn't start pushing him until late(after Paulk got Hurt)

I think RB recruiting was on the back burner having 2 we were very comfortable with. After the injuries it looks like they started back recruiting in earnest.

Agreed. That coupled with the point I am making makes this a tough battle IMO. Hopefully we can pull it off. I certainly wouldn't bet against us.

No doubt that the number of backs already committed is used against UT. But, as already stated, CBJ can overcome this if another RB is priority.

After hearing him stress yesterday that the APR issue has been used against them on the recruiting trail, I can't help but be even more impressed with what he and his staff have accomplished since arriving in Knoxville.

The number of backs taken has never hurt Alabama. It won't hurt us either. You need a stable of backs in this conference. Who is there next year? A senior Lane and some slaw? Pulling three backs this year is of great importance.

Alabama rolling 4 or 5 deep at the RB position with highly ranked RBs has still not hurt their RB recruiting. I understand they are a championship team, but still...

And they all get a bunch of carries. That's one big reason it's easy to sell multiple RB recruits for then

And they all get a bunch of carries because they are good. Ours are not so they don't get carries. It's pretty simple. Time to stop spinning your wheels on this issue...
