'14 OH TE/DE Ethan Wolf (UT Commit 4/10/13)

Wolf as a blocker is on another level. You seriously are in for a treat if you like big TEs who maul DEs.

That recent pic of him with all of the recruits showed that he was a pretty big dude..... Standing beside Coleman Thomas....

He could possibly grow into a LT. He has the blocking skills for it already. Either way he is going to be a very good player for us.

Ethan Wolf

6’6, 240, Tight End, Minster (Ohio)
Committed to: Tennessee
Ranking: three-star, no. 15 TE (no. 11 247Composite)
Where things stand: Wolf committed to Tennessee on April 10 while on an unofficial visit to Knoxville. He received an offer from the Tide just less than a month later on May 9. He quietly took an unofficial visit to Alabama and has declined comment since. It’s a weak year at tight end, especially in the south, and Wolf remains an option for UA there.
Tim’s Take: Wolf, who would be an in-line Y tight end for Alabama attempted to keep his visit to Tuscaloosa quiet, and declined comment once word got out. Regardless, the visit went well on both sides. The fact that Wolf is very deliberate and cautious in nature tends to point towards there being some interest in Alabama on his part. How things shake out at tight end for Alabama remain to be seen, but Wolf is in play after his visit.

As long as we keep Helm I won't lose any sleep if we end up losing Wolf. Maybe that will free up a scholly for another receiver or for a position of need.

We are fine at TE next year everyone comes back and plus we add Helm. If Wolf goes too Bans then I wish him the best except for the third Saturday in October. I'm not saying I want Wolf to go too Bama I'm just saying we can recover from it and won't miss a beat
