But unless I'm missing something, all vol74 is reporting is his exchange with Barnett and some others. I'm certain that is correct, but we don't know if the kid was sincere in the reply. From all I've read there is so much out there that indicates we lead. I'm just not ready to throw in the towel yet.:unsure:

My 2 cents... 74 is sharing everything he's hearing from the recruits... Barnett wants his day in the sun and only truly confiding in his coach... probably telling everyone, including our current commits, what he wants them to think leading up to his announcement. Idk, could be way off...

According to a Vandy rivals mod there has been: "a turn in his recruitment and I now see an 88% chance Vandy lands him."

Take that with a grain of salt one of my Candy friends sent me that trying to brag.

Well...I just don't know what to believe on this one so I'll just have to hope Barnett is playing mind games with everyone and has already pledged to the Vols.

It was said butch spent much time with mom and family. May have felt a need cause mom is loving candy Ed and crap the tiger is meowing.

Mama maybe pushing him toward candy. I have come across some candy football players and the candy Ed did not serve them any more than a typical small college Ed as far as the job market.

Perhaps he chooses his own course mama wants him close and he likes candy enough himself to go there. If so, good luck with that. I think it would be a big mistake but it would be his choice.

Hubbs reported this Friday.

The Barnett race looks to be down to Tennessee and Vanderbilt and after a visit that we've heard wasn't his favorite last week at Vanderbilt, the Vols have the chance to really make a mark with Barnett. Look for Barnett's mother to again be in Knoxville with him it what we consider a very important visit to make a last impression on Barnett as he is hoping to do something in August.

still dont get this one, not sure i trust this quick influx of information. ill wait for the cosches take. not sure how a tn kid that loves us all of a sudden likes vandy so much bc of what? he loved us at camp, his mom loved us. i just dont believe it its a position of major need.

may be wishful thinking this kid is a player.

if we miss him, to candy. its a joke
