'14 TN Xavier Hawkins WR/CB/KR

So Moseley runs faster than 4.3-4.4? Don't think so. But go ahead and let this kid go somewhere else and when he starts putting up numbers your going to wish you had him.

Moseley is a true sub 4.4 guy.

Hawkins is not. He is a track guy that has run under 11 seconds 3 times in his life, with his record being 10.72 (with a tail wind). That means he is more Devrin Young/Tino Thomas range.

The good news is that we don't have to worry about him beating us, because all 14 SEC coaches agree that he isn't worthy of an SEC scholarship.

Moseley does in fact run faster than 4.3-4.4 and he has much more upside than Hawkins with his 6"1' frame

Hawkins is indeed a 4.4 guy

I personally am 100% buying into the Hawkins & Rollins hype. I hope Butch Jones & UT's staff put the full-court press on both.

UT has really cashed in big on local, Knoxville HS prospects the last couple of years. Tyler Maples, Blake Garretson, Dustin Lindsey, Lee Smith, Anthony Anderson, Josh Hawkins, Rae Sykes, Dennis Rogan, Daniel Hood, Kyler Kerbyson, Devrin Young, Cody Blanc, George Bullock, Malik Foreman, Josh Smith, and I'm sure I'm forgetting others. That is 15+ STUD prospects out of the Knoxville area just in the last 5-10 years.

Not to mention, Randall Cobb played at Alcoa HS and now plays in the NFL, therefore I'm of the opinion UT should continue to recruit tons of the local players. With that ideology instilled, UT football will reach the top of the college football world very soon. GBO!

Sports Animal in knoxville reported thursday that hawkins,rollins-davis & cooperwood have all been offered preferred walkon status by TN. Maybe they are worthy of future schollys.

Not sure if serious.

Many of those you named if not most have/had no business being SEC football players.

Lol, exactly. I saw him lead off with Tyler Maples and thought, "sweet. A little dose if sarcasm." Then I saw some other players who actually contributed and said, "wait, wut?"

Edit: I doubt it was sarcasm. Flowd is a Knoxville boy and is a big Cody Blanc fan. He wouldn't use him as sarcasm

Wharton
Pearson
Malone
Hurd
Paulk
Berry
Gaulden
Payne
Moseley
Kelly
McDowell

You are a fool if you would take this kid over any of those players. The only "project" is Moseley, and his is bigger and faster than anyone on Fulton, plus he is an EE.
I would take Hawkins over Creamer and McDowell

Not OV, but my top 10 instate kids would be:

1. Jalen Hurd
2. Josh Malone
3. Todd Kelly Jr
4. Rashaan Gaulden
5. Derek Barnett
6. Alex Bars
7. Emmanuel Smith
8. Vic Wharton
9. Michael Sawyers
10. Xavier Hawkins

Honorable mention: Charles Mosley, Cornelius Sturghill, Daryl Rollins-Davis, and maybe Devin Perry.

#9 and #10 on my list are interchangeable.

My 2015 list:

1. Rico McGraw
2. Donnovan Sheffield
3. Drew Richmond
4. Jauan Jennings
5. Kyle Phillips
6. Josh Smith
7. Jack Jones
8. Josh McMillon
9. Ugo Amadi
10. Zach Stewart
11. Dylan Jackson
12. Cam Ordway
13. Van Jefferson
14. Brant Mitchell
15. CJ Sanders

Soooooo much talent and depth.... I would be ok with UT taking 14 of these guys.

TCV.. Do we have a chance with josh smith if his brother emmanuel signs with vandy?

Hawkins is a terrific athlete who will at least find the field on special teams. I think Creamer and McDowell will get buried on the depth chart. Hopefully they turn to out to be great players for us and prove me wrong!

IMO, if Emmanuel does indeed sign with Vandy, it will be a complete uphill battle to get Josh on board.

I doubt UT can get past that hurdle. He'll be Vandy's gem of their class. It is what it is.
