For those who don't like percentages, here are some more intuitive breakdowns based on the numbers from the entire 2014 draft:

A five-star recruit had a three-in-five chance of getting drafted (16 of 27).
A four-star had a one-in-five chance (77 of 395).
A three-star had a one-in-18 chance (92 of 1,644).
A two-star/unrated recruit had a one-in-34 chance (71 of 2,434).

Most feel he would do well at S in college if QB does not work out.

That would be the disaster scenario IMO if the staff took 3 QBs and 2 of the 3 end up moving positions AND taking 3 in 2015 cost you getting a QB in 2016.

I think some Tennessee fans might be getting a bit too excited about Gibson.

As I've said, I think a number of teams have some serious concerns about him right now. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with his recruitment over the next couple of months.

The red flags regarding Gibson aren't things that would show up on his Twitter account or anything like that.

I'm not really in a position to discuss the details of what Gibson has and hasn't done or anything like that. All I can tell you is that the concerns about him are serious enough that multiple programs that have been involved with him either have taken a step back in recruiting him or are seriously considering doing so.

Again, I'm not really in a position to discuss the details of what Gibson has or hasn't done. But I do think it's at least possible that Tennessee ultimately could back off Gibson. It's a somewhat tricky situation for the Vols, considering that Gibson is involved with a number of their other current targets, and completely backing off Gibson might leave a sour taste in the mouths of some of the guys he knows. But I would not consider him one of UT's top targets at this point, if that makes sense.
