While in recent weeks since his official visit, Tennessee has been in good shape with D'Andre Walker, it seems both Georgia and Auburn are storming back in the picture.
The Atlanta defensive end, according to those close to his recruitment, had a great time in Knoxville on his official visit and Tennessee seemed to be riding some momentum into the dead period. But, Walker has decided not to announce at the Army All-American Game at the beginning of January and will now likely take both official visits to Georgia and Auburn as the Vols will have to fight to hold on to any momentum they had coming out of his visit.
LMAO this is one where I just don't see how we can get in yet another phenomenal DE prospect but yet we lead. I'm going all Leb and trying to figure how we get this guy, Phillips and what we currently already have even if we lose Dylan Jackson. I will say this is the best I've felt about Dline recruiting in a longgggggggggggggggggg time.
You do realize we have 2 OLB positions, and 2 DE's, right? So, why would we have to recruit/take only Taylor or Walker, rather than both?I have a feeling since we survived the Tech visit with Taylor that Walker is less of a priority. They look like the same guy to me. That's hard to grasp because I believe pass rushers are a premium. But you rarely line up two sub 250 pound pass rushers on the same snap. Plus, Butcher.
