Kid must have some grade or character concerns because his on-field production is top notch.
Also, Fortenberry has on multiple occasions stated it's likely that Griffin ends up a linebacker. So if you count him that 3 linebackers in this class.
Of course, that leaves us thin at safety.
~ Ryan CallahanDuring a friendly Twitter exchange Wednesday night with four-star linebacker Quart'e Sapp of Milton (Ga.) High School, five-star offensive tackle Chuma Edoga of Powder Springs, Ga., predicted that Sapp ultimately will commit to Tennessee.
Sapp congratulated teammate Obe Fortune on his commitment to Appalachian State on Wednesday and added that he couldn't "wait till its my turn." The 6-foot-3, 276-pound Edoga who has been committed to Southern California since April responded by tweeting to Sapp, "we all know you going to UT."
Minutes later, Edoga tweeted, "#CrystalBall Quarte Sapp to Tennessee."
Tennessee has been the favorite to land the 6-foot-1.5, 200-pound Sapp for months on the 247Sports Crystal Ball, and 19 of his 20 current predictions point to the Vols as the front-runner.
Sapp is ranked the nation's No. 297 overall prospect and No. 24 outside linebacker in the 247Sports Composite for the 2015 class.

Interesting considering Paul said yesterday on VQ that he doesn't think they'll take another LB in this class.

Do look for some names @ safety to surface. Can't confirm the rumored position swap with griffin but can say safety is something that isn't 100% closed down yet.
When news came out that Berry and McDowell had been moved to LB, I figured we were probably done having 2 committed for 2015. Probably only way they take another would be a best available type situation much closer to NSD. I doubt it comes into play.
