On here there was, but I didn't see the advisory board or any of the reputable mock drafts project him above 4th round, and most were 6/7.

I spend maybe an hour on pre draft stuff though, so I could have missed it.

I'll be honest, I'm too lazy to read through a bunch of them, but the two I read said 4 and 5.

Point is, Tiny being an exception, a 2nd of better grade by the advisory board is rarely too far off. Bray definitely didn't have that, nor did Da'Rick.

Tyler Bray The Main Blemish In Otherwise Successful NFL Draft For The SEC - Forbes

This article from Forbes dedicated solely to Bray's draft stock refers to him as being drafted as high as the 3rd round. In other words, that was likely his ceiling. They mention his possible grade from the Draft Advisory Board as more than likely being in that same range, though it is confidential. He is also mentioned him as the 7th best QB in the draft.

For Bray, it was never really a question of his talent from the neck down. It was all about a lack of presence between the ears.

No it's not. Just because Joe Blow says the Cowboys might take him in the 2nd rd means squat. I know of no reputable source (Mike Mayock, Mel Kiper, Daniel Jeremiah) that suggested that, so you're going to have to provide some proof. If he was in fact getting a 3rd rd grade (at best) from the Draft Advisory Board, and questions about his mental makeup and maturity, he should have come back to school.

Surely you see the difference in what I consider legitimate talk and fluff regarding these players. Bray in the 2nd to the Cowboys seems like fluff to me, but I'm open to being corrected.

Former Nashville-area star Justin Martin, now widely viewed as the nation's top junior college cornerback at Northeast Oklahoma, picked up a Texas offer this week. But Martin has an extremely strong relationship with the Vols and while Martin is expected to take multiple official visits, we like Tennessee as his clear-cut leader at this point. When a JUCO CB is getting offers like this you know he is legit. I'm incredibly excited about the strong possibility of adding this guy to our stable of defensive backs. This guy might just be the best corner in the nation.
