Not an early EE. But the two kind of go hand-in-hand. He's finishing up Juco in one year so he has the extra year to play.

So it's kind of like having an extra early enrollee

An indication of NEO's undisciplined approach came on the ensuing kickoff as freshman cornerback Justin Martin had an 80-yard touchdown run nullified because he executed a flip before entering the endzone.

So far this season Martin has 14 tackles in 5 games w/ no INTs or PBUs. While he sabotaged his long kick return last weekend, he's returned 6 kickoffs for 191 yards and 2 punts for 44 yards.

Brief assessment, FWIW: "Martin is considered a little bit of a raw prospect in that his speed, recovery speed, and length are all basically elite attributes, but his instincts, tackling, and ball skills all leave something to be desired."

Agree. If this kid is willing to work, then I trust Martinez to turn him into a player. Best position coach on the staff IMO (and we have a few good ones, especially on defense).

We HAVE to get this guy. I've said for months he's our best DB prospect. Butch has to lock this guy up especially if he wants to be a Vol as much as it seems like.
