'15 JUCO CB Justin Martin (UT Signee 2/4/15)

I'd like to see what Martinez can do with him.

Instincts and tackling are very important and hard to teach imo. Tackling can be improved do not get me wrong, just not easy. Instincts is what concerns me most. Especially considering he is a juco who will have less time to improve.

He's a guy with 3 years to play. A bit different than most jucos.

Martin and Abernathy in the same class would be straight up nasty.

Coach Doug Mathews says he is pretty sure that Justin is on board. Said if he comes in the fall, he will have 3 years to play but if he plays another season of JUCO, then he will not be here until 2016. Doug said he thinks he will enroll in the fall 2015.

Did he make it sound like he might have to stay another year at NEO?

He didn't elaborate other than he felt like Justin would enroll in the Fall but it was possible that Justin may have to wait until 2016 for some reason.

I wonder if this might be why we picked up the pace with Ugo's recruitment.

I understood him to say we got two commitments this week "well, really three", referring to Martin. He also felt he was going to be here for fall camp. He said we placed him in JuCo last spring, so it seems if his academics are in order, he could be here for fall camp.
