That's the question I have yet to see answered. I think it could be a situation where he would be a transfer and count against the 85 but not the sec 25.

No. It's just like any signing of a kid who isn't an early enrollee. He would count. Just like Chris Weatherd counted last class even though he didn't enroll until late this fall.
