I think if the coaching staff wanted Bussey...he would already be a Vol. I think we are holding out for some bigger fish. IMO JMO

Yep. It's obvious right now that Love is their guy. I think if Reid flips, you'll see them try to turn up the heat of Bussey.

Take 2 quality backs in 2016 and you are set up better going forward.

Their point or at least mine is we only have one for sure on campus next year. Just one known guy. Yes we'd like them spread out. In the mean time we need a few.

the other factor is that unless you're bringing in 5 star or 6.0 4 stars, there is a good chance of misses. Only one out of every three or four 5.8 4 stars end up being SEC quality backs. We have a SEC quality back in hurd and probably kamara but I think people are wanting to have a third and perhaps fourth SEC quality back. That's why we need to bring in 3 besides kamara, counting RDA.

Speaking of UGA, They will also lose Damian Swann & Corey Moore from the secondary along with JJ Green and Langley. During the year they lost Rico Johnson, Dawson and the top notch JUCO kid Shattle Fenteng battled shoulder injuries. That's without mentioning JHC, Matthews and Shaq Wiggins before the season. It's crazy how many DBs they have lost.

My favorite part is that Abernathy, one of the best DBs in the state, is headed north to wear orange.

Hurd came in as what would be considered a known guy. He has delivered as expected. Now Kamara may even be considered better than Hurd coming in. I'd feel safe in calling that 2 known guys. Add to that I feel RB is one position where young guys can and do produce at a lot of schools all over the country even if they are not "known". I think the fans idea that it's common to have 4-6 RBs on the roster at any given time that are "proven" is just not usually the case in college football. By the time those 4th and 5th guys are "proven", is around the time the guys who were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd have graduated.

Good point. It just seems like the staff wants to give Love the opportunity to decide before taking Bussey. I still think Bussey is a Vol and Love is not when it's all said and done but that's just my opinion. They may not wait on Love if it means losing Bussey to A&M since they really like him.

Just reading what I have here and there I think the Bussey clan know UT is slow playing him a bit. Obviously the injury after the offer did not help at all. I doubt they wait UT out. IMO he's going to announce for A&M any day now. UT asking Bussey to wait till January to take a visit there told the family he's a back up option. IMO no reason for him to wait around. Playing RB at A&M is not a bad gig at all.
