'15 NC RB Bryce Love

I probably could. Rest assured though it would be a recruiting powerhouse that is 100% on the up and up. :birgits_giggle:

I'm kind of tied up with y hotel stuff currently. If I ever decide to move on from this, I may give coaching a go. National Championship would probably take a good 3-4 years for me to achieve though. Go from WR coach at South Doyle to HC at Tennessee in 4 years. I'll look into it. :birgits_giggle:

I would have to pass on Bryce Love though. Just not a fan of the scatback type unless it's an emergency #5-6 guy. I'd sign Vaughn the Orange Mama. TIFWIW

Scat back? I mean if he's 180-185 he could easily play
around 200. It's not unheard for kids to gain weight.
Happens to about all of them. I get more of a CJ Spiller vibe from him than I do De'anthony Thomas scat back. That's just me.

Yeah, 5'10 180 to me is a scat back. Now 2-3 years from now, maybe he is 200-205 and I'd feel differently. As of today and what IMO UT needs at RB, 200-220LB RBs is the way I would go.

When a man takes a job like the HC at Tennessee and is paid all that money, at times it comes with ridicule when someone thinks something is not being done the right way. Just comes with the territory. I'd think CBJ knows he can't please everyone in every situation. The late QB slip in maneuvers is just one I'm not a fan of. Do I think it played a role in the RF situation? Obviously I do.

I was one of the earliest pro CBJ guys on here. I said his resume made more sense for the $$ than Charlie Strong did. Yes, there are a few things I'd like to see CBJ change recruiting tactic wise. In time, I think he will come around. Hopefully it happens sooner than later. JMO

Is this really necessary in every freaking thread? No coach does everything the right way. They wouldn't last long if they did. And RF quit when he wasn't just handed the starting job instead of earning it. For someone who wants things done the right way, Riley sure went about it all the wrong ways iyam...

If EVERYONE would put him on ignore, it would help.

We also had Jabari Davis , Derrick Tinsley, and Cedric Houston in the same class. 2001 I think it was. So this happens and is certainly not unprecedented.

So... what you're saying is when we sign a handful of elite backs in one class, it turns into a running game that performs very well because the backs stay healthy because there is DEPTH. So they split carries, everybody's fresh all game and season long, and we can wear teams down.

to anyone saying signing three elite backs in one class is wasted scholarships, just look at the last decade against UF. EVERY game for the last 10 years we've lost. EVERY game, the team with the most rushing yards won.

Hurd, AK, and Love are all three different backs. Add in one more, you have four guys with different skillsets that can keep a defense on its heels.

More often than not, that means wins.

I don't always agree with Leb, but if he believes what he is saying, I'm in no place to go tell him off. We all have our opinions. If we were all the same this message board wold be way less entertaining.

Opinions are great. Expressing them across multiple threads, multiple times. Not so great.

Opinions are fine with even a scintilla of information. But Leb is throwing stuff around without anything. It is more of an accusation instead of an opinion. There are consequences to uninformed opinions, and facing ridicule is one of them.

Well said... However he has just taken the BS to other threads though, where not so easily recognized, which is unlike him. He still got bashed though. I think he has started to crack.

He's alright at times but I don't buy that he is a UT fan. He slanders the staff and does way more harm than good for the team that he supposedly loves. I understand that there is always going to be differences of opinion with the staff BUT he comes up with the most backwards logic for slandering the staff. He even blames Jones for Ferguson leaving the team which is an absolute joke.

A lot of the time he does the same bashing point in many of the different player threads that have nothing to do with that particular player. He is discussing OL and QB in love thread which I think is this thread. I think anyway. Who the heck knows

Except for the fact CBJ was doing exactly what I said should be done if I were running things. He would have stuck with Cherry, the guy he took the commitment from, had he not taken the trip to TX. Kirkland was not a take for TN had Cherry not took visits. Kirkland said as much himself.

Sounds like CBJ could learn much from you. :)

Now, if he would only keep that number of commitments well below 20 as he was told...
