Yeah, Bryce and Dexter Lawrence and the Wake Forest WR, #10, seemed like the only guys on the Wake Forest team that were capable of competing against Mallard Creek.

Mallard Creek really keyed on Love the entire 2nd half but Wake Forest didn't have the passing game/other offensive weapons to take advantage of everyone focusing on Love. He almost broke the last kickoff when Mallard Creek finally decided to kick the ball to him. Dude completely obliterated the angles that the coverage team had......unreal speed.

Bryce really showed heart playing the last 2 games with the dislocated shoulder.

CJ Spiller 2.0. No need to put too much weight on him. CJ Spiller went from 180-185 in high school up to 195 in college and plays at 200 pounds in the NFL. Bryce can undergo similar weight gain and be very effective in college as an All-Purpose RB and Kickoff Return guy.

This kid and Kamara are just what the doctor ordered at RB. Those two will even the playing field quickly. Just give Dobbs and Hurd more help. These are the type of players/playmakers that can make up for terrible playing calling(Coach Jake).

Or it will allow jake to call things he's been unable to call with our current personnel

I think you're right. By combining players who can make people miss in space with (hopefully) improved o-line play, jake's playcalling is going to look much better.

We were terribly tied up with play calling at the beginning. No QB that can run if needed and a patch work OLine. We have QB figured out it seems and now need a good stable of RBs and a better OL. If we see this next year we can be in some games and win some games we shouldn't.

To me it's really hard to fault the OC when we have a joke of an OL. He has not proven himself yet, but he certainly hasn't been bad under the circumstances

"I have Stanford in January on the 16th and Tennessee on the 23rd," said the 5-foot-9, 176-pound Love. "I talk to Stanford a lot, pretty much on a day-to-day basis. I have a lot of communication from them." "I talk to coach Jones, coach G and coach Thigpen a few times a week," he said. "What's happening with Derrell Scott doesn't really have an affect of me. Everybody is an individual and they make decisions for themselves. There would still be an opportunity to play there either way."

"I had Stanford and Tennessee come to my house so far," he said. "I tried to get North Carolina, N.C. State and Virginia Tech in there but I had team stuff." "I'm still trying to make my decision in January," Love said. "Hopefully January 30 because that's what the principal said. I'm hoping for some time around then or the beginning of February."

Bingo.

Everybody complains about the screens. But when you have Amari Cooper, those go for 75 yards.

That's true but for some reason their receivers block better and make big plays out of them. Have seen a lot of teams hit those for big plays. About 90% of ours are loss of yards or less than ten yard gains outside of a couple. Just amazes me how some teams are consistently hitting big plays off those. Could be the defenses we play don't worry about Dobbs beating them downfield so they can play up anddown the receivers can't block when they are outnumbered. Also I'm sure it has become extremely predictable and Bajakian doesn't hite his play calls very well. Some of it is the Oline but also defenses eventually figure you out and it's up to the OC to make adjustments and he hasn't so far.

I said this exact thing right after either the Mizzou or Vandy game and got ridiculed. Hurd needs a head of steam. He is fantastic in space and between the tackles, but he can't just start on a dime. Kamara will help immensely, and I agree that those screens and flares could go all the way anytime.

It could be due to inexperience across the board. Everyone needs to realize that this season the coaches were working with a very young team. They are still learning the offense and they make mistakes. The same plays with the same players after another full season Will be ran way more efficiently.

I don't see where he was limited by personnel this season. He has a lot of weapons at his disposal.

Still quite a few Jake defenders out there. When I see a nickel D and the secondary is spread from the hashmarks to the sidelines approx 10-12 yards from the LOS, as it was much of the time against Mizzou and Vandy, I see an OC that needs to know what he is doing and not call 10 bubble screens and swing passes. I see an OC that needs to make sure his QB can check off to a quick slant or streak to the slot or TE on each and every play when he sees that D if he is not going to signal those plays in from the sidelines as he should. You don't even need dominant personnel to do those plays and they take 2 seconds.

You can have tremendous playmakers, but if can't get them the ball because the online was an open door, what do you do? Give honest viable answers, taking into consideration the state of the ol this year. Come on, coach, what's the game plan?

This has been the exact thing I have said about him since day 1. Always an excuse, need a better OL or whatever. Really not sure he is a very good OC, hope he proves me wrong .That job will sometimes require a little creativity to cover lack of talent, he absolutely proved he can't do that. only had to make 1 creative call against Florida and it would have changed our season BIG TIME.
