Going to encourage you to keep an eye on the Rocky Reid situation.

How in the heck do you guys know if he is a Gurley/Chubb clone or not? Comparing to what? Speed? Give me a freakin Break!

Some of you guys are so full of sh$t its unreal and you have no clue what a good RB really looks like. Georgia of all the schools in the SEC besides maybe Alabama recruit some of the best RB's in the nation. Kind of like the way we used too. Every year they get RB's that are big and can flat out run over your a$$.

So when we get a RB that Georgia/Alabama wants you can bet your pants he is a defiinite take! Someone we should be pushing hard to keep.

Reid I truley hope and pray you come to UT! We need Big RB's like yourself and I believe you will do great things here at UT.

Yep. It's like all the BS talk about Dobbs. Just because a Knoxville beat writer or two commented on him having an off day or two (and they only get a certain portion of practice to attend) in fall camp, all the brainiacs here start slinging shiite about him, assuming he's crap since Peterman supposedly beat him out.

It just shows how un-informed this fanbase is, that they would reach conclusions with such scant info to base it on. The staff put too much emphasis on seniority....bottom line. And rather than having a team contending for the SEC E, we are in full salvage mode...hoping to even make a bowl game.

Sometimes, beat writers and even coaches botch player evaluations. With that in mind, VN should be avoid jumping to conclusions. When the recruiting services have their post season evaluations, I expect a number of our 3* commits to get bumped up to 4*. Reid and Ford will probably 2 of them.

Whoa dude, take a deep breath.

You do know that UGA has only been recruiting Reid for a short period of time, don't you? They didn't pinpoint this kid as a priority in the beginning, and don't tell me they didn't know about him. He's played in championships and set records in a state where Georgia tries to make a heavy presence each and every year.

We aren't going to get on our knees for anybody. We have a Nebraska commit knocking on the door to get in; they know a thing or two about backs. We have another NC kid on the line whom Stanford continues to fly across the country to see. We'll get multiple studs, regardless of who leaves.

I encourage everyone to look at our LB recruiting right now. If any of us were in charge, we'd be pleading with Cecil Cherry to stay. Turns out we have an elite linebacker who couldn't wait to set up an official when our staff have him the green light.

Our staff has elite players with whom they've built excellent relationships with on hold wondering if they can have a spot on a Vols team that's turning the proverbial corner. My advice: enjoy it and stop panicking.

This! I got 99 things to worry about, but Butch Jones and this staff's recruiting ain't even close to one of them. I've been  since last NSD, because after that class, I know recruiting is in great hands.

Talk about your uninformed posts. Dobbs was, and still is, really really bad in practice. Ive been to 5 or 6 of them. For all his great play as of late he still has a long way to go as a quarterback.

But way to throw a terrible jab at an inappropriate time lol

You are just totally full of shiite.... Period. Jab deserved. They've practiced nearly every day from the start of fall camp, and you say you've been to 5 or 6.

If that's even a credible claim on your part...which I doubt...5 or 6 out of dozens and dozens of practices and those practices being closed to the media and public for all but one period = U.R. Fullovcrap.

BTW, you are such a solid source of inside information with those 122 posts of yours. :loco: GTFOH
