'15 NC RB Rocky Reid (Wake Forest commit)

To be honest, I've never really understood the excitement over Wisconsin RBs. They get and produce some decent backs, but nothing overly spectacular...Saturday's performance by Melvin Gordon notwithstanding lol. Ron Dayne was a great RB. They only have 2 RBs on current NFL rosters I think...Montee Ball(Broncos) and James White(Patriots). I just think they have a great system in which a college RB can thrive. That doesn't guarantee success in the NFL. Jmo...

I don't get it either. They just don't seem to transition well to the NFL. The completion that they play, for the most part is horrible. They look better then they actually are?

The fact of the matter is that none of us is really in the know regarding Reid and his recruitment. I think most of us take a wait and see posture regarding our recruits. I hope that Reid has a great college career in Knoxville, but whatever happens I doubt that any on this board will provide the impetus for what occurs. We all remember the UT choice of Daniel Brooks over Patrick Willis a few years ago, but did any internet board play into this equation? Nope. So whatever happens, I hope it is to the advantage of Tennessee.

He will fight for his life to get 2-3 yards per carry in the SEC and won't be able to get to the edge at all in this conference. He might be a decent back in the slow 10.

I think they always planned to bump him a little. He is still a 3 star. I would have thought 4 star but there is something holding all these sites back from that level. I dunno what it is. He looks pretty solid to me.

Watch his junior or senior tape and compare it to any other back that's been mentioned to replace him and tell me his isn't better.

He does it all, including outrunning people for long gains. A lot of u are scared off by his low rank because u haven't watched his 20 min freak show of a tape.

And highlight tapes are just that, highlight tapes. The kid produces at a high level and I think will be a good college back. I don't anyone to think I'm knocking Reid...I really like him, but we are simply in on some better backs IMO.
