I know he doesn't use twitter so has anyone heard any news on Gentry? Does anyone know if he participated in the elite 11 in Dallas? I would really rather come in this thread and see discussions about Gentry's style of shoelaces than see anything about Doofus.

It's been pretty quiet on the Gentry front. He took the visits he planned to take I believe. I'd guess he knows where he is going, just a matter of when he decides to let everyone else know.

It's hard to pick between gentry and Gibson if I had to choose one

You have to wonder if Gentry will be tempted to pull the trigger early and commit with the news that Gibson is favoring UT. I'd love to have both but we all know it's tough to pull two elite players at Qb.

You have to wonder if Gentry will be tempted to pull the trigger early and commit with the news that Gibson is favoring UT. I'd love to have both but we all know it's tough to pull two elite players at Qb.

I don't think it would matter that much because if he commits early and Gibson says he wants in with UT Butch would tell Gentry that maybe he should look around. I think they both should take their time and hopefully by mid-season make a decision. Right now it's really early.

Most felt we would not slow play Harrell either. "He is one of the best G's in the country, get real". With having a QB already onboard, the UT coaches have a lot of wiggle room as far as taking another QB, IF that is the plan. Maybe that guy is Gentry, maybe it's someone else. They go all in and miss a la Cornwell last year, it's not as big a deal as Jennings is in the fold.

Well apparently CBJ thinks so that's why he's recruiting Gibson harder.

I would love to get this guy, even over Gibson. He's got great measurables, and if we can protect him, he would be able to fully utilize the weapons at WRU. Not to mention he's got great speed, which fits perfectly in this offense. I'm going to say he's a Vol by mid-June.
