'15 TN ATH Jauan Jennings (UT commit 4/7/14)

Add in Center and I think we're on to something here.

CQBWR

Think about it. If he snaps it to himself too, They'll never be able to figure out what he's gonna do.

and with him taking on three roles, we can add in two more offensive linemen. make our line so wide the D-ends have to run a quarter mile to get to the QB, that should give him a chance to actually throw the ball.

Believe it was Charles Davis who said he was a qb in HS and when he reported to camp he was assigned to the Safeties. Charles said he looked around, all of them were HS qb's.

Jauan Jennings isn't going to fade at wide receiver; he's been a surprise blessing in that group. Not a surprise because of his talent or playmaking; coaches felt they knew what Jennings potentially could do. But from his mental toughness to his competitiveness to his willingness, Jennings has shown it all. One coach said he'd like to have a dozen Jenningses to coach; another one lauded the rookie as arguably the mentally toughest player on the team. More than once, Jennings has been the last man out of the wide receivers' room while getting extra film and playbook work accomplished.

Jennings' competitiveness has rubbed off on some others including Josh Malone. We reported in this space several weeks ago that Malone appears more comfortable in his skin than at any point last year and it's showing in his play. And not completely discount the arrival of Jennings the two know each other from the mid-state and Jennings has increased the competition level in the receiver room for everyone including Malone.

With the injuries to the secondary starting to pile up, we might see the coaches play Jauan both ways. Coming out of HS IIRC people said Juaun had NFL level talent at safety if he would give up QB and work and develop at safety. Now it turns out he is quickly developing into a really good reciever. He has appearently given up on the idea of QB and seems to have a great do whatever is best for the team attitude. 2 way players are rare these days but it sounds like Juaun has the potential to do almost any skill position. He is going to be a good one for us no matter where he plays.

i can't wait to watch him next weekend to see what these guys have been seeing. He sounds like a #1 WR with how they gush about him. It's great to have guys like this that are young and being rewarded it helps build a foundation for the future as new kids come in and immediately see his work ethic leads to success. So they copy it

what a blessing to have this guy. Hes the only WR from the 2015 class and we didnt even sign him as a WR. Thats how our luck has been with WR Health.

Well Preston clearing makes 2. So we basically signed 2 5 star WRs which makes last class even more of a Holy S&$@

yeh but the guy still cant cut. I know what youre saying though. I meant only 1 WR is actually out there playing right now. You are right about that last part though.

What's the chance that we see Jennings returning punts? He's electric with the ball in his hands(twss)

We will see what comes out now that he will do his acclimation period. I do expect him to come along slowly. They will probably target SEC play with him
