The first point was people were making a mountain out of a molehill and second was that Cam Sutton has turned into the every 3 star is going to be great because he is, it's not just this thread. While I hope every 3* that plays for Tennessee turns out to be a stud chances are some won't

Nobody is saying that. Another fabricated Straw man argument, on your part.

Pointing out someone who was a 2-3,* that made it, is merely conveying that *s are not always a clear indicator of their talent level. Even Bama takes some 3*s. Does that mean all 3*s are going to work out? Of course not. That's silly. So, too, is your argument.

I wasn't talking about your comment, but if the shoe fits. As I said in most threads it's Cam Sutton is a 3* so (insert name here) will be just as good. Or any higher rated recruit reminds me of (insert hall of fame or pro bowler here) and then people get upset when the kid doesn't live up to the unrealistic expectations

From Joc's own mouth on The Zone last night, the coaches are telling him he will be in the slot. Awesome, humble kid who you can tell loves football and just wants to play no matter what position. Talks to coaches all the time. Really doubt this guys anything but a Vol on signing day.

This kid killed it in the playoff game tonight. 4 td's and blocked pat, kid could be special. fast has great moves.

I watched his game last night and he single-handedly won the game for SD. They were trailing for most of the game, and every time SD needed a big play Bruce came through.

I'm not sure how his size will translate at the next level, but his speed and ball skills will definitely help. Kid is a baller.

he played alright against a team that has no defense i know CC's team i live in Lafollette they can't stop anyone even i would look good against them :rolleyes:

CC went 9-3 made to second round of players offs so D must suck bad. Good Grief, can't we just give a kid a little credit for having a great game? He's been scoring on teams all year. D must suck on all of the teams he played. He's the reason they are 12-0 and moving on. I would hate to live where some of you are.

Was at game last night also. Have been at all cc games. By far the best player cc has faced at a skill position. Was skeptical about him until I saw him in action. He made two terrific catches in traffic to keep drives alive, one by dragging a foot to keep in bounds and the other when he made a grab on third and 14 over a defender in excellent coverage. SD also moved him from corner in fourth to cover cc best player which lines up at slot or tailback and he could not get open from that point forward.

Joc is a good football player but he is not great. He has decent ball skills and his straightline speed is good.CC should have beat them last night.

look at how many teams scored over 24 points on CC just abt everybody good offense explains 9-3 record no defense at all :rock:

Neither team could stop the other last night. I've watched every CC game this year, and they had a lot of talent on Defense in Torres, Phillips, and others.

Bruce just made plays when his team needed them. He picked up a fumble in his own backfield on offense and took it in for a TD, and he beat great coverage on a long pass downfield for another TD.

Other than Bruce, SD didn't do much on offense.

Cc does not have a great defense and not the worst either. They are not big up front like last year. Allowed 24 points in 6 games. Tennessee, we would say has a decent defense has allowed that in 5 games out of 9. The last 14 points SD scored in last 1.30 last night. They took 1 point lead with 3 min. Cc threw interception then let SD score on first play to get another crack at it as they were just down 8. Then SD scored with 10 seconds left on a just trying to run out clock after another interception. SD is not that great of a team either and will lose next week but bruce stuck out and has really good hands, thus why ut offered as a slot. Also, more quick than top end speed.

You're right man, what were our coaches thinking when they offered him? They need to hire you to evaluate talent IMO, but who should we drop him for? Please share more of your intelligent insight oh wise one..

What are you talking about? I gave my opinion on the guy. Look I really don't know what is your problem is but I actually have defended you a couple of times on here and thought you were a reasonable poster. I guess people show there true color and yours is like ish brown. Smh
