Joc was not even a take. I'm not saying we should've took Nathan, bc he fits the GT offense. But cottrell was a hell of a lot better than bruce. When we played them in the playoffs this year.. We made joc look god awful, never seen someone with a UT offer so bad. Not even jaylond woods.

well cottrell is part of a 25 man Running Back rotation at GT. Should be fun.

But seriously they have 20 running backs on roster. I wish they would let us borrow a few of them in Knoxville.

This is all it is.

Some of you guys need to keep in mind that this is the first true taste of freedom for many of these kids - first time that they're able to do whatever they want, but also the first time that nobody is going to hold their hand to make sure they handle their business. I was there myself - I ****ed off for the first semester in college, my grades tanked and I spent the next five years trying to make up the ground. It's not always an easy transition.

Not the end of the world as long as he learns from it - I wish I'd had my wake-up call as early as he's getting his. My guess is that this kick in the ass will be all it takes.

You are familiar with him, what makes him so much worse than some other local guys we occasionally offer? There's nothing wrong with his height and weight so what is it?

The kid plays some of the worst competition in East Tennessee. (Hardin valley, karns, central. Etc) I admit he is somewhat athletic. However when you watch him against some better competition he doesn't shine as much. He is extremely overrated. If you saw the playoff game with SD vs West he was exposed. He was constantly knocked in the backfield, and couldn't do a thing. He maybe caught 2 slant passes and really that's about it. I personally think their #10 reciever at SD is better. Just my opinion, just wondering why this kid gets a spot over some of these other local kids like Domonique Williams from fulton. The kid could ball.
