If this kid signs with UT I will be absolutely shocked. This kid has been like Rico McGraw/Drew Richmond the whole time. Longshot at best

So, I'm wrong on Van, and Ordway can't qualify, which doesn't really matter because we never pushed for him. Tell me what else I'm wrong on? Outside being wrong on Van, I'm right about everything else. Ordway wasn't coming here no matter what. We didn't push for him because he can't qualify, and because he's an average player at best. Everything else I said is true. Richmond screwed us, but at the same time, I know for certain that St. Louis and Allen were very high on us. We could have had both those guys had we made them a priority, Allen being the hardest one to pull of the two. I know you know your sh*t man, but I also know that Griffin is very high on our board and that's why Ordway wasn't coming here in the end. I also know our staff really likes Sapp, and that Griffin will play S at first here, which is why I expect us to continue to recruit Sapp very hard until NSD. I haven't seen Butch's board, but from what I've heard, we really like Sapp as an OLB.

Newsome takes all the sting out of it. Give me him over Van every day. Far more versatile and explosive.

The VQ guys have said that as well. They said the only way they could get back in it is if he wasn't an EE. So who knows how to take that comment. I have no idea what is going on with his situation now, but it's been an odd one from the get-go.
