Richmond used our money to recruit against us. Had we not been scared of losing Richmond from the get go, we'd probably be sitting with commitments from OL such as Allen, Givens, etc. Staff dropped the ball on the OT recruiting this year as far as I'm concerned.

Whatever. Some of y'all will never be happy with what our coaches do. Richmond is the best OT in this state by a mile, and what would have been said if our coaches didn't try to go after him? Givens isn't better than what we already have - sorry.

Our coaches are sitting on a .500 record and the 5th best recruiting class in the country. Keep whining though.

anybody that whines about a top 5 class because we didn't sign every in state kid with a pulse needs to exit stage right stat.

I agree. Do you think we go back after him with Bobo gone or was he even involved with van during the recruitment.

Not true man BoBo was a major recruiter for Van. He is hysterical right now being that he's an EE. He is in a scramble for what he should do. I have spoken to his dad and one of our coaches and this could really help UT or Ole Piss. IMO it helps UT the most because Ole Miss just recently got in this party. I really think the tOSU love has faded.

You speak as if you know all this to be fact but a lot of what you're saying is false. On the Richmond issue sometimes somebody wants something and are willing to stoop to uncanny levels to get it and it cost you. The rest you're way off basis. This staff works hard and relentlessly to get it done so speak on what you know and less opinion.
One last question who else wanted Cam Ordway? When you see offers you must know what's committable and what's not.

No doubt about Bobo. He was a big-time recruiter on that staff.

The VQ guys insist TN is not a factor for Van because he's an EE. They just say it and leave it at that. Are they totally off-base on that? I certainly hope you are right about TN still being a factor with him. Another WR or two is a must in this class IMO.

For whatever reason, it seems that VQ mods think there was a falling out between Van and UT. It honestly came out of nowhere that Van wanted nothing to do with UT.

It did seem like it was OSU, UT and UGA then became a two team race between UT and UGA. Then for whatever reason it seems Ole Miss entered in.
