'15 TN WR Van Jefferson

I think the Jortster is talking about Cece Jefferson, my guess is he can't read. It's a good chance atleast. That's just a fail on multiple levels..

a little nugget on Van. Today I was told that Urban told Van he would guarantee him 10 targets and the qb would be throwing at least 20 passes per game. Well Van talked to Torrence Gibson and also another coach at Ravenwood only to find out Urban lied again. He told Gibson that his passing skills are not that important as he'd get to run the ball at least 15-20 times a game. Van was definitely perturbed and said how could this guy make stuff up like this and continue to lie. Our barber said that's what he does and what recruiting is Van when it comes to this guy. Then he said I remember when Kelvin Taylor was in 9th grade he told us he'd never go to Fla, then CUM quit and he committed. He said he absolutely hated CUM and his lies. So with that being said I think UT is still in a good place with UGA and tOSU still hanging around.

Just put it this way Van doesn't want to be a blocking wr for a qb running offense like tOSU runs. He wants the chance to make plays at wr. It's pretty simple if you tell 1 player something and another something that contradicts it somebody is going to be offended and questioning your ability to tell the truth.

A guarantee of 10 targets per game for an incoming freshman should raise buckets of red flags.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it is far fetched as a promise.

Anyone have figures for North and Pitt's freshman WR last year?

I'd love to add OSU as an annual game

If you will recall, we had a home-and-away series scheduled with Ohio State for 2018-2019, but they backed out of the agreement (Ohio State football: Series with Tennessee canceled | Buckeye Xtra Sports). The series was described as a "casualty of the Big Ten’s decision to add a ninth conference game starting in 2017. [At the same time, Ohio State also announced that it would play North Carolina in a home-and-home series. The Tar Heels will come to Columbus on Sept. 5, 2015. Ohio State will play in Chapel Hill, N.C., on Sept. 23, 2017."

Reality is that Urban's been doing this since he took over at Florida...and WR's KEEP BUYING IT!...he always defaults to Percy Harvin because Harvin was technically a WR...but had a unique skill set that allowed him to flourish as a rusher in that centrific Meyer spread...5 * receivers who went to Florida and now flock to tOSU should expect to develop their downfield blocking skills... They're going to get a boatload of opportunities in that department.

Yeah I agree.

How in the world do people have time or even the desire to invest their time in going on an opposing team's message boards on the internet for the purposes of not even having legit conversation, But for the purposes of being fake and stupid and inflammatory. I don't get it. There are so so many better ways to spend your time. It's just ridiculous and pitiful
