It has nothing to do with "righteous indignation". Who said send them all to hell for saying a bad word? It is called knowing how to act with class and be a gentleman in front of children. It really doesn't matter if you are a Christian or an Atheist. It is called not being a selfish individual who cares nothing about those around you.
I don't understand this way of thinking. Some people around here get their rocks off on crapping all over Dobbs and they literally haven't seen the guy play since last November. How can you honestly evaluate where he's at right now? Seriously...
Edit: I guess you could count the O&W game. But I seem to remember him throwing some nice deep passes to Malone and picking up a fumbled snap and running it 65 yards for a TD. So there's that.
You just answered your own question. If we can't be negative about it then you can't be positive on him based on your comments. In the spring game he was throwing against the third string defense. If he wins the job then great he earned it. But he got worse as the yr went on, has no arm strength nor does he throw a good deep pass, not to mention he showed no pocket presence and a slow release..outside of a few good zone read runs he showed absolutely nothing that has given me much hope. But yes players can get better but don't see him able to do much in the passing game. About a third of his completions was him tossing it forward with a rb or wr running right in front of him. Don't even see Dobbs beating out Peterman muchless starting..jmo

So I should give up my right to free speech because there's kids around? How about you give up your right to a fair trial because I don't think you deserve one and you can rot in prison for something you didn't do?I have dropped an f bomb before but not in front of children. I should not have to keep my kid at home because you want to be a jackass and not watch your mouth around children. It's called being a gentleman and having some class and respect of others instead of being a selfish bastard.

It doesn't work that way. I have every right to say that just as you have every right not to.
For the record, I didn't chant thatI was with my parents and friends. Hence the respect and whatever else you were talking about. I wasn't (and with a child I still wouldn't either) be upset or tell someone to stop. That's absurd and goes against the first amendment.
Nope I sure don't and maybe mine will change over time.Guessing that you do not have kids yet? Just a question, not an attack. So many opinions have changed for me due to my kids. :salute:
As far as QD I hope he's ready to start next year. We need him
I mean I hope peterman is good enough to start. This weekend showed me nothing for peterman. If I learned anything about any QB on roster this weekend, it was how much Worley has improved on jumpballs to north in the endzoneI would love to get away from starting true freshmen unless they're just that good. As much as Worley improved after one full year under Butch, I don't see why people don't think Dobbs and Peterman could do the same.
I know I'll get flamed, but I really liked how Peterman played Saturday. He missed a couple of open receivers, but I actually thought he looked better than Worley had all day. Granted, there was way less pressure. But it just seemed like instead of taking a sack when the pocket collapsed around him, he moved forward and turned a potential sack into a 6-7 yard run.
