'15 TX QB Quinten Dormady (UT Commit 6/9/14)

Yep and being there made it worse. What a letdown. I was with 4 people in their first Neyland experience, and the 6th was a Bama fan who had been to Neyland a good bit.

Man the future is bright on a positive note. The best players on our roster are almost all Fr/So with some upper classmen sprinkled in

I'll tell you what I was there as well and it was also my first time in Neyland, me and 3 friends all from Colorado. We drove out and it was one of the best weekends I've had. My friends and I were blown away by Neyland and the atmosphere around town. I can't imagine what it would of been like after a win.
Future does look good! And I can't wait till my next trip!

I guess what I was trying to say is that we need a Casey Clausen that can gut out Florida games. I was hoping, and had a feeling, that peterman might be the man to get it done. I think that performance he had in the swamp will fuel him to go in their next year and do what you and so many others think he can't do.

I think that's what most thought he would do and then Georgia happened.

Yeah they are better than I'm giving them credit for, but damn 9 points is inexcusable even if we played the Jaguars. I don't think we should score under 10 points ever. Against anyone in CFB. Maybe I'm a year off in thinking that

The New York Giants got blanked by the Eagles. Crap happens. Not an excuse. Just a fact.

Do you think that's what Coughlin preached afterwards? It happens?

It's inexcusable for any decent team. If you asked Butch right now I bet he'd agree. Yes it happens, but hopefully this is the last time in a long while.

There were some guys from Colorado in my section I think. Weird... Might've been your crew.

We just have to keep a positive outlook for the future. I'm doing that, but I can't pump sunshine out about some things this year. Man I can't wait until these type of discussions aren't happening and we're debating how many first team AAs we have.

Man... Leave my giants out of this... I'm having a rough football year, stop rubbing it in!
Lol they beat my Falcons though. The last time any of my team's won anything was '98. I was 4 and a half.. Before that the Braves in '95. I was 2. I know the struggles

It wasn't the fact we lost to UF. It's he had 5+ chances to seal the game. If he doesn't throw that endzone pick we win. If he doesn't throw that last pick we may win. One more play in a few spots and we win the game. One TD instead of 3 FGs and we win. It has nothing to do with UF itself, but more with how awful he looked against an average team. Our defense as a whole is better than UF's IMHO. So that means our offense was worse as a whole or that's my reasoning. Granted, they didn't look half bad with Treon, but Driskel played 3 quarters and was horrendous. We still lost. Worley was the main problem. You can say he didn't have time all you want, but if we kneed the ball 3 times instead of throwing that endzone pick, we arguably win that game. At the end of the game I was begging us to run because Worley was going to throw a pick and fans around me were disagreeing. Worley could handle it they said.

Maybe I'm salty, but I doubt it. I don't wear the orange colored classes when looking at Worley anymore.

uf's defense was not average by any definition...if Worley played against the gator offense, UT wins, but that is not really how football works.
Football is a team sport. Worley did not lose this game all by himself.unfortunately, he had considerable help from the entire offense in participation of losing this game.
The Tennessee defense played well enough to win as I have stated previously. The Tennessee offense did not. The entire offense. Not just one player. That game was almost 2 weeks ago. It is time to let it go and move on.
I for one am excited about the possibility of beating a highly ranked Ole Miss team. :salute:

I also pull for the Timberwolves because of KG when I was a kid... They're awful.

I am a Cubs fan because the home run race in 98, I was 9 and my dad took me to wrigley to see Sammy Sosa.

So Vols, Timberwolves, and Cubs... I understand the pain of losing seasons ha

If we beat Ole Miss, I will be thoroughly shocked. Probably the toughest game we play all year. Hope I'm wrong but we'll be lucky to cover (16.5?).

We win the game if:
1. Defense plays like they have all year
2. Worley plays well
3. The OL holds up decently
4. We win the turnover battle
5. We win the ST battle

A lot going on but I think we need all 5 to win

That may be worse than me lol. Not too often I get to say that.

Side note I got to see KG live in Atlanta in his prime as a kid. Good experience.

Excellent post!

I have seen many games that TENNESSEE has played well as an underdog and upset the favorite regardless of the odds. (not sure why my iPhone put TENNESSEE in Allcaps but I will take it) maybe it is an omen :)
