:whistling: Psst!!!! Jennings' completion rate is higher than Dormady's. Plus he has had a TON of drops this year. I love people that just throw "facts" around and don't have a clue what they are talking about.
I do like Dormady's game, too. I think we have 2 really good ones ready to battle it out.
I haven't been paying attention to this year so much with football going on. Has he been any better than last year?

Do yourself a favor - take five minutes, jump in the Jennings thread and look up his senior highlights to date. I think you'll like what you see. He looks much, much better than last year and seems to be improving every week.

Are you aware that Dormady's father, his head coach, got with the UT staff and implemented the UT playbook as their offense?
I hope one of the QB's can come in and provide some competition. I am not jumping up and down about starting a True Freshman, but it might be where we are. I can't come up with many true freshmen QB's lately. Johnny fball and Winston were rs Freshmen. I think Ainge was the last one for us but that's a decade ago.
The kid at Penn St, Watson at Clemson before he got hurt, the kid at Cal started as a FR and is really good Miami, Fl has a FR starting, Florida will this week, Greene and Murray at GA both were 4 yr starters. I know there are quite a few more this yr and past yrs I would just have to go find their names. Never is an ideal situation but if they are the best when it's gametime and give you the best chance to win you definitely play them. Hopefully with Dobbs developing they can possible RS Dormady and Jennings then Kendall the following yr.
Yeah, I agree. The reason you start true freshmen Qbs is either he is an undeniable freak that you can't afford to keep off the field or you have absolutely nothing else.
Hopefully Dobbs' improvement means we get to sit these 2 for a little while and finally get some sense of roster stability at that position. I'm scared that Peterman might transfer, leaving the freshmen as backups. Maybe they can take turns redshirting if that is the case.
Someone had said Peterman wouldn't leave because he has a serious GF at TN and loves being in Knoxville, no idea how true that is. Hopefully he does stay for depth alone but you don't always get that luxury. But you have another highly ranked guy in Kendall the following yr so they may not be as concerned about redshirting Dormady or Jennings.
