yea,I was,just a shot at some who see Pro Style and say so and so cant run this offense and are stuck on the notion that we HAVE to run the read option...as if a coach has never adapted his offensive philosophy to his personnel before,especially when you stockpile 5*WR's,RB's and 4* TE's,but still say the QB needs to run more...

by that philosophy, we turn Peyton down because he doesnt fit our style

His mechanics look pretty good for a sophomore in high school (film). I'm no "expert" but you can see the kid has a great skill set and mechanics to work with. He seems balanced and intelligent in the pocket. I just hope that injury doesn't affect him to much and he can manage to stay healthy. Did he injure his throwing shoulder?

Yes, from what I read, it was his throwing shoulder, injured while sliding into second base.

Best film on a QB I have seen since Chris Leak. I am not comparing the two just that Leak had really impressive film from HS.

Just watched his film also.He throws a very catchable ball.I know most people on here want the next Manning but watching this kid just reminds me of a young Tom Brady.But Id be happy with either.:)

We were looking for 2QB's in this class. We got them. End of story. It's really that simple.

So why has Torrance Gibson been UT's top choice for QB in 2015 class? I guess it has nothing to do with his mobility and running ability or the fact that he can "break ankles".....

You are crazy if you think CBJ is giving up on his number one target because someone lower at the same position committed. Where did you see we would only take 2 qbs including JJ? We were gonna take Gentry, TG and JJ. We still would take QD, TG and JJ. You don't pass up a potential superstar. CBJ took QD because he is good. Not because he is better than TG or has moved on from his recruitment.

One caviat, Dormady plays in class 4A which is the 3rd in class size in Texas so while he may not go up against the big boys he will most likely put up gaudy numbers this year.

I also like it that's he's a coaches son.Tells me he will put in the time and work to get better.Glad we have him on board.

Gentry was the top target actually. Per VQ & scout

QD is a great QB prospect. He is willing to put in the hard work and prepare (as many have said). Both of the QBs we have are very hard workers and that is something CBJ looks for and also great leaders. We are set at QB, trust me. He will be a 4* a high one possibly. Look for him to go to an AA game too

Who said he was top. They put the full court press on Gentry who is a similar QB to Dormady. Was said many times to be believed that Gentry was the #1 target. JS

Hey Matt, is CBJ going to continue recruiting TG as a QB or for another position as some on here think? Or is he done with TG?

Edit: He didn't specify as a QB in his post but that was the gist from that I gathered from the conversation. Could be wrong and he meant at another position but didn't seem like it.
