Lol, its not negativity, its reality. Claiming TD is the best playmaker in the state of Alabama is just being disingenuous, especially if you dont have a clue about other talent in the state. And suggesting a person is negative or "not a vawl" for pointing out the obvious to you is just childish and a little dumb. I hope he bust out this year and that we end up getting a great player, but he has yet to show that he lives up to the title that you so emphatically bestowed upon him.

If he does get over recruited than yeah, that would be us telling him, "WE WANT BETTER".

Or he might change his mind, and flip somewhere else without the staff ever giving him indication that he was less wanted.

Randall Cobb perfect example. He wasn't heavily recruited by us, and went somewhere else. But he maximized his talent and worked hard. Works hard..
Cobb never had good games against Maryville, really... It happens. Yes, I am also saying Marshall at this point is as good as Randall Cobb was.

That's why I'm so high on him.

My recollection of the Cobb recruitment was he was like Jennings in that he wanted to play QB in college. UT was honest with him and recruited him heavily as a receiver. KY told him he could play QB so he signed there. Played a little QB early in his time at KY then settled into receiver and the rest is history.

May folks second guessed CPF for not telling Cobb he could be QB then sending him to the receiver line for the first practice.

My recollection is that we also told him he could play QB, but for some reason he thought UK was telling the truth and we were not. Whatever happened, the legend of that recruitment has taken on a life of its own.

I sort of recall at the very end UT switched from "your a receiver" to "sure, we'll give you a shot at QB" but it obviously wasn't convincing.

Whatever it was, wish he was a VFL. :eek:k:

Sept. 4: Marshall ran for 183 yards on 24 carries and 5 TDs, scoring on runs of 33, 2, 1, 54 and 5 yards plus a couple of 2-point conversions. He hit 5 of 9 passes for 100 yards with TD passes of 10 and 43 yards.

I believe he is a legit prospect will continue to put up great numbers like last week.

So NO... he is not good AGAIN, because he was never bad...

According to 247 their RB got hurt, and Marshall singlehadedly won the game in OT. Did he complete those passes to himself ? :)

and after they try him at DB...they'll wise up and puthim in the slot, and he'll be another 3 star super star of the Butch Jones era.

He's a pure football player. We got hold on to him.

I just watched a little film on him and... Wow! Talk about under the radar! This kid is fast and smooth. Can cut on a dime! I'm no coach but I think he would be great in the slot bc of how he makes ppl miss. I hope nobody else finds him!
