If we have room to fit them all and do land all those, then that should vault us back into the Top 10 easily. Probably a #7 or #8.

We were in the Top 3 for a while last year, but strong finishes by a few teams bumped us down a few spots. This time, we'll be coming from the other direction...closing strong rather than trying to hold on.

Adding all of those would put us #3 right now on 247, but I agree we will probably end around #7-#8 with that haul. Which would be an epic success in my opinion.

We can't take 5 unless we cut loose another two (or CBJ pulls some blueshirt magic out of his hat). Doing so could be highly detrimental to recruiting efforts in the areas where those 2 players are from, much like it's going to hurt us at MUS for a while.

I really doubt Butch wants to go that route again in this cycle... I think Dickerson would be the odd man out if all of those guys want to come and we can somehow get someone to count as a blueshirt (VQ guys seem to think it isn't possible this year, but I'm not a numbers guy so don't quote me on that).

Otherwise, I think the best we could do is finish with Derrick Brown, Kongbo, and Warrior and call it a day. That would make for a baller class imo

CBJ should wait on projects. That's my only issue in his strategy of cruitin. This aint Cincinnati anymore....its ok to hold off on projects

Uga site from a day ago said he enjoyed his visit. This visit was more about eating a lot and spending time with the staff which he has not been able to do. Had a professor from Terry school of business show him around and academic side was very important to him. Sat down with the president of the school Jere Morehead and that was best part of the visit.family spent time with coaches talking about football .just said announcing on Feb 3rd. Sounded good visit but nothing like blown away but he does play close to the vest. I checkout Dawgs vent and see if anything else there

Dickerson is 5 star on at least one site as an interior lineman. He won't be left out... regardless.

I could be wrong. But I don't know why we would have to count Oliver or Bruce. I also believe Stewart enrolling in summer instead of spring means we could count him in the 2017 class. If the right ones want in, I think we can fit 5 or 6 more in for a total of 22 or 23.

Just a rumor. But my cousins aunts nephew told me this kid and Kahlil have a strong friendship that's been growing a while.DB is kinda quit and reserved and thinks Kahlil is hilarious.Makes him laugh all the time.But it's just a rumor.Kahlil has been known to be a pretty good recruiter for us in the past.

I seriously doubt Jones would turn away any one of those five if they all wanted in. He may have to cook the numbers or hand whatever-colored-shirts, but if those five want in, they're getting in.

Now it seems UGA has faded once again. Potato quest on VQ who has connections to his high school and has been informative in his recruitment is saying UT's in home is tomorrow and looks like it'll be a coin toss between AU and UT on signing day

I love the build up to NSD. It's the only time of year I allow myself to abandon reason and do things like hang on every word written by an unverified internet account titled "potatoe quest."

I would always cut a 3* for a 5*, makes it easier to recruit another 5* next cycle in the gap u left by cutting the 3*. As long as you aren't in a Dooley situation not signing an OL situation of course.

Yea, I do remember reading that Hart was offered a blueshirt and refused. Like I said, I'm not a numbers guy at all. Just relaying that PFort seemed pretty certain that only 3 spots remained. If we do have the ability to blueshirt a guy, then it'd be 4.

Obviously I hope CBJ can blueshirt multiple guys so we can add each of the Big 5 remaining targets, but 5 open spots sounds like a stretch from everything I've read.

But back to Derrick Brown... more good news: apparently Gillespie, Butch, and Strip are putting on the full court press at an in-home tomorrow ahead of his OV this weekend, per a reliable poster on TOS. This recruiting process seems eerily similar to Drew Richmond's toward the end, and we all know how that turned out.
