6'6" only MZTERRY can teach that and I for one will be grateful to have another Croomster on the Big Orange train!

Boooooooooommm!!!! Welcome to the family, Mr. George!!!! I really like this guy...I was impressed when I first watched his film. Excellent addition to THE WRU!!! VFL!!!! GBFO!!!!

Just wondered what you didn't see that Butch did. What would you have told Butch about George that would have changed his mind? Looked like George had good hands and height and ability to catch the ball.
Just wondered.

Maybe you should read my post slowly. Obviously it was part opinion and part sarcasm. I stated the opinion that I dont see him being a seemingly can't miss prospect which imo you want from a juco player with only 2 to play 2. He plans on being an early enrollee which should help. The percentage of juco wide receivers that develop into difference makers is very low. He's probably worth a look though since we will be thin at WR next year. I dont think we've taken more then 3-4 juco receivers during the last 15 years. Speaking of seemingly can't miss juco receivers Kenny O'Neal.

theres alot to like about this kid. very talented and a very high ceiling. His tape from the 2015 spring is nice even though they are just out there working out in shorts. Its pretty easy to see the talent. Also quite amazing the people who keep doubting Butch's evaluation. I remember when ppl doubted him about offering pearson, weatherd, moseley and owen williams too. I also believe Darrell Miller, Neiko Creamer, Vincent Perry and Joc Bruce are going to make some believers out of the doubters. He knows what hes doing.

I've personally seen very few people ever question CBJ player evaluations. Certainly not on Pearson, Weatherd and Owen Williams. Maybe a few star gazers on Mosely.

The wording is the same whether I read it slow, fast, backwards or whatever. Your opinion (or belief) is that 2 to play 2 players are a risk because the percentage that become difference makers is low.
JMO FWIW

Good to hear he is supposedly really good at using his body to shield the ball. We have some wRs now that could use some help with that. Croom shows up half the time, he really can be good and make some plays. I used to be wary of Croom and his effort attacking the ball. We really need him to be Croom every week, all year if we are going to show everyone we are back and a force to be reckon with in 2016.

This staff signs back to back top-five recruiting classes, in which a significant portion of that first class are already contributing, yet their abilities at talent evaluation and recruiting are still being questioned? Unreal! I've got 99 problems, but talent evaluation and recruiting from this staff ain't one of them!

Did anyone else thing that quarterback for dodge city had a pretty good arm? Anyways real excited about this guy, adjust to the ball really well, good deep ball threat.

All the hand wringing right now hinges on what rating he gets from the recruiting services. If they ultimately land him at a 4-star or better, many of these same posters will return to express their excitement.

As for me, in CBJ I trust.

Might have missed it...where was the hand wringing?

Agree. I have 0 reason to question the recruits we bring in. If Bruce and Perry make an impact early, that will just expand my trust in the coaching staff because those two seemed to be the iffy ones in this past class

Glad we were able to beat out Arkansas State.

Bo Wallace went to OM from Arky St. and has been their most successful QB since Eli. I'll go ahead and bury your argument with Malzahn coaching there the year before playing for an NC at AU.

Every year we evaluate before other schools, then other schools offer. Every year. I know you only post to be a douche, but still, every year.

This is the advantage of getting the majority of your class committed so early. You can go ahead and start evaluating and recruiting the next class while other schools are wrapping up the previous class. I don't see how someone can question this staff's recruiting approach.

Kiffin is no longer here.
Dooley is no longer here.

I have no problem with questioning decisions. Your post just appears to be bashing our coaches instead.

We now have a good staff.
Let's try rooting for them to succeed with our Volunteers

Chris Weatherd's recruitment was very similar, as George's will end up being.
