We may or may not have a chance, but this is one of those you keep recruiting if for no other reason for the national exposure or the off chance a miracle happens.

Kinda reminds me of the Adoree Jackson recruitment.

He's a bright kid with a ton of enthusiasm for Tennessee. He'll either figure it out or he'll find a way to pique Gary's interest. Sure hope it's the latter.

Winning will bring a lot of recruits to us that aren't realistic now. Gary might be one, but a 9+ win season will drastically change our recruiting class from what it is now, IMO

Gary is visiting LSU for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. I think that's his clear leader right now, without question. The Mad Hatter may have this one locked up.

Our #1 DT target is D Brown. That's been our staff's focal point. I don't think they'll consider Gary as a realistic target until he visits, which is supposed to happen in the next month or so. But the fact that he's been to LSU multiple times already tells me what I need to know.

If that happens I'll be surprised. I'm not getting my hopes up until he actually makes it on to campus.

True, but Gary >> all of them. He's a McKenzie-level DT. If he's interested, you go hard after him no matter who else is on your board. I'm hoping a visit to UT happens like he's stated it will so we can have some sort of chance with him. Just not looking realistic right now.
