Like I said a few post back. If you don't want to read the speculation don't come into the thread designed just for that. If you don't want to read my speculation that's even more simple.

Argue that my slant is wrong. That's fine. BTO and germ both did. I agreed with both their reasoning is more likely than mine.

Lol that's what I've always done, argued against your slants. I find most of them to be unreasonable. You don't seem like a guy who is completely clueless, so I find it difficult to reconcile the subject information we receive here and your wild and presumptuous analyses and conclusions of said information.

I certainly have missed on a number of speculations no doubt about it.

Williams has been one of the more bizarre recruitments I have ever followed.

No idea what to think to be honest. Only thing I feel fairly confident on is I don't think we are taking both fulkerson and Williams but I certainly could be wrong

Bruin, if Williams commits Fri, I think its safe to say you were wrong about us never gonna take them both. Personally, I think your wrong anyway. Cause I don't think these guys are gonna include us in their final cut if they don't even hold a commitable offer. Which would have to have been the case if we were never gonna take both. But that's jmo.

The announcements are a week apart

Yes if we sign both of them I will be dead wrong, support both kids, and add lots of hot sauce to my crow

I see us getting both Grant Williams and John Fulkerson, because they are 2 completely different players. One is a physical post player at nearly 240 pounds, and the other is a finess 6-8 190 pound post who can shoot pretty well.I see us with these guys for sure in my mind.
1. Josh Bone
2. Jalen Johnson
3. John Fulkerson
4. Grant Williams

At this point Kwe Parker would be a huge commitment, but I honestly do not see him coming here. I hope he does, but a lot of ACC schools are going after him.

I think that would be insane for Tennessee to do, but it looks like what Barnes is prepared to do. Hope Fulkersonand Williams develop.

I disagree about the commitable offer thing..... I would guess both players probably know where they are going or at least it is between two schools and the other school or two is just part of the show.

You could be right. Would be an embarrassing show to put on if it were to ever be made public a kid listed a school as a finalist but didn't even hold a commitable offer from them. Imo

There is no actual athletic scholarship to Ivy League schools.

There were quite a few on here who thought when we offered him there was no way you pass on the Ivy League, it comes down to the kid as I said at the time. Williams wants to play basketball on the biggest stage possible, that makes this an easy choice for him, and tennesse has improved their academic facilities for athletes to the point that he can still be very successful.
