'16 TN LB Tim Hart (FORMER UT commit 6/26/15)

Welp I hope MUS never has another player we want. Strike 2 with that coach. This staff for all the good they do in recruiting etc really isn't very good at the a whole slow play or get a kid to decommit without being incredibly offended thing. It seems like other schools don't really have an issue with the nice way to nudge someone elsewhere. Whenever we slow play someone they take us off the board lol

Other schools have had issues, too. Our situations are more prevalent because this is the school we follow.

It's too bad this happens. I would not be surprised at all to see UT struggle with instate recruiting in 2017. High school coaches and recruits pay attention to this stuff. Signing at most 3 instate guys in a class of 21-22 is a mistake. I think we see the result of this in the 2017 class.

Overreaction based on limited info. Will likely have no bearing on any future recruitment. Again, you guys are running with one side of the story. The kid looks a little bitter but you're still presuming way too much here.

I would not be surprised to see us be very successful in 2017. Most high school coaches at the upper level know how recruiting works. If they get their feelings hurt it is on them.

We are going to win 10+ games next year and have a strong in-state class. We're going to murder it in Tennessee recruiting next year

He is positively thrilled that he has another chance to attack Butch.

I see things like this posted about him, but he rarely posts something absurd. I find myself agreeing with him often.

Maybe rethink his reputation if it became bad by hating of Dooley.

IF we win 10 plus games and the east then you will see a top 5 class in 17 easily. Kids who should be playing at a top level do not post things like this in social media. That is weak sauce and I do not see other top 10 schools knocking down his door. The other side is he did not progress the way he should have to garner an offer from a top SEC school. Tough for him but if you want a top ten program, then some things like this will go down. Easier to do when signing 25. The large classes of the last two years has left little wiggle room to take chances this year. It is what it is.

Better enjoy Richmond because Butch is never getting another player from MUS. He already had to rebuild that bridge from his Cincinnati days and he just probably burned it again.

Love when people who know nothing about what is currently going on make a statement that they believe is the gospel, yet they have no idea what happened in the past, what is happening right now, or what will happen in the future.

Keep in mind that you're hearing basically one side of the story and running with it.

Guy said we weren't straightforward with him. That's really not a "side", it's a perception. And perception is reality in recruiting AKA relationships.

Love Butch Jones. LOVE HIM. And I have no problem with parting with a lesser recruit. I even got flamed in a thread for asking who the lower ones were (including Hart). But I do not like the apparent lack of communication in a tough position.

We only have the word of a disgruntled kid, I'll reserve judgement on butch.

So I guess u think its ok if a recruit does the same thing to a school. Maybe hart didn't progress or do what he had to do to get better and keep his spot. Your prob the guy that gets mad at coaches for losing but don't agree with cutting a guy for a better prospect...

Lurking in the shadows until you get a morsel of bad news that you can use to further your agenda against a coaching staff that is improving the team every year is the definition of absurd. The guy is actively rooting for Butch Jones to fail and be fired, that much is crystal clear.

It's cool, we didn't do him dirty I don't think. A lot of schools would be like nah gtfo (look at what Harbaugh does) but we offered him a BS. I mean it is what it is. If it burns a bridge so be it

Recruits should know if they have not heard from the coaching staff in awhile that they're likely to get dropped.....good luck to the kid

Butch could call a 5pm press conference and tell everyone he stopped calling Hart, didn't respond to Hart calling him and he dropped him a month ago but didn't bother to tell him because he took his commitment too early and ran out of spots 2 weeks till NSD.

The same people saying you're only seeing one side of it, would be fine with what Butch did. Saying we don't know is just a way to try and justify it.

Outside of NCAA violations that cause probation, I am ok with how CBJ handles recruiting and in game coaching as long as he wins games. Wins many ball games and competes for championships.
