These reactions are always fun. We offered blueshirt and he connected the dots and wanted to go somewhere he has a better chance of playing. His 'lack of communication' is likely pointing to the fact that his offer was not communicated as blueshirt at first. It is what it is. Now, not being able to recruit at MUS is a valid reality now. They have most likely accurately assessed the fact that they rarely have top flight talent there. And btw, this type of thing happens all over the country but we closely follow UT so we think it is unique to us. It's not. Recruiting sucks. It's not black and white. It's a dirty shady gray place. You can't venture into it without getting muck on you.

Yeah, Butch has really struggled in state. It's apparent that you are extremely uninformed so maybe just put the shovel away.

If he feels he was done wrong, he has the right to say it. Coaches being able to talk kids into keeping negative recruiting quiet is partly why they are able to continue doing it.

If we rely very heavily on in state recruiting as it currently stands,we will not be competing for SEC championships.

He felt it was worth his time in those classes. He obviously didn't this year. We'll see how it goes next year after snubbing his nose at the instate kids this year. There sure are a lot of good programs who took the time to come get the TN state talent this year. We'll see how 2017 goes.

everyone will tell you the In State 2016 class is not on the same level as the past couple years. However the 2017 class is. Its not a big deal.

How old are you? This is the reason participation trophies are a bad idea. Sometimes in the real world things don't go how we want them to. If the player works hard he will be ok without UT and UT will be ok without him.

What is wrong with a blue shirt? He joins the team when school starts and immediately goes on scholarship, what actually is he missing other than he cannot report in the summer?

yeh losing Tim Hart is gonna really set the program back a few notches. gtfoh. it is what it is. He'll likely go play in the AAC.

Maybe Hart regressed his senior year or slacked off after committing. If he earned a scholarship from us, he would have gotten one.

If we start winning and competing for championships, all these supposed bridges that are burned will be rebuilt with the bodies of 18 year old kids wanting to join the best.

It's embarrassing for Hart right now (and I feel for him), but it's better to know now and get to choose a different school where he can be successful than showing up to campus in August thinking he's going to start (or whatever he would have been thinking) and being nudged out the door next year to make room. The NCAA has scholarship limits, so Butch can't take/keep everybody. It is what it is.

So, even though Butch and staff has shown an above average ability to post talent early, when abkid doesn't develop like they thought, they should just take him anyway even though they could upgrade so they don't hurt his feelings. ******n, some of you must have really liked being terrible.

Let's wait until we actually have a signing day that isn't in the top 10 unlike the last two years.... and even if it is in 15-20 range, that's where Ole Miss has been the last two years. 2017 looks great, we're fine.
