'16 TN WR Nate Johnson

I don't have anything against Josh Smith. I like him a lot. Just saying that on a team with so many 4 and 5 star wide receivers, its sad when the local 3 star kid is the best of the bunch.

No that just means we need to stop star gazing. Malone and Williams will never be the wr Josh Smith is, for one main reason. They don't have his heart or competitive spirit. And that is where the ratings services fail in their evaluation.

For comparison, this year, Chad Kelly threw for 3740 27 TDs.

This year Dak Prescott threw for 3413 and 25 TDs.

This year, Coker threw for 2489 and 17 TDs.

3000 with 30 TDs is so off chart.

Dobbs may end up with 30 TDs overall but I doubt he passes for 30 of them with how our offense is elite at running the ball.

Pump the brakes a little when you include PWilly in that list. He's a true FR coming off of an ACL injury and another injury during the season. Pretty unfair to include him at this point. However, I'm pleasantly surprised how Josh has turned out.

I'll give you that, the jury is still out on Pwill. We will deliberate again in 2017

Preston Williams will be better than Josh Smith. He was more impressive in limited work. What are you looking at? Kid was catching back shoulder fades and all. The over the head catch was the best catch of the year for us skill wise. I don't remember Smith coming close to doing that his first year.

Off course he needs to be more consistent but the same can be said for any QB with only one full year of starting experience.

I expect him to improve. But I also expect the talent around him to improve. Wide receiver was a position of weakness last year. I think it becomes a strength once again next year.

We all want Dobbs to get to that level too. It's not like we're wishing failure on the kid. Hell I hope he breaks all the records and wins the Heisman but he's not to that level yet.

Gotta disagree, BB...catch and play of the year was Josh Smith's catch on 4th and long, down 24-3 late in the 2nd half against UGA.

I said skill wise. Smith is short so that made his catch look hard. That tracking a ball overhead is extremely hard to do. PWilliams and Malone continued to make big plays in that game while LionPride is dogging them out.

I guess it's a matter of opinion. I base a lot on who I want with me in a back alley or down the home stretch in a tight game. Not who can make a spectacular catch against UTC. Right now you take Pwill and I'll take Josh.

Have had him on ignore for months and it barely helps. Everyone quotes him because he makes himself a target. His opinion against everyone elses. Easily the most annoying poster since LebVol.

Bruin is the most annoying since Lebvol... Actually they are even... However people have learned to not quote him and it proves that it works. It's just killing ole Bruin and he can hardly pick a fight these days. He has even had to resort to posting something positive, after he posts some BS that he made up in his head, just to try and get some responses. It's great!

PWill made a big play versus Georgia. And the dude is coming off an ACL tear. Wasn't even a full year off of it. They were already featuring the kid. Back alley or whatever give me PWub. Josh will be a good sidekick. But you must have forgotten how many passes Josh dropped his first year. Both were dealing with injuries so don't play that card either. I'm not dogging the dude but you seem to forget what he did/didn't do his first year. He's improved and I give him that but you want to compare a 3rd year guy to a 1st and second year guy. Malone had more 100 yard games than Josh this past year. So what's the deal with that?

You can have Smith as your No.1 WR if you want have fun with that. He's a good No.3. IMO

Williams is a good WR and has the potential to be great but you are underrating Smith. He doesn't have PW's potential but I don't care how tall or short he is, the catch against Georgia was amazing and probably as much as any one play this year saved out season.

PW also hurt us vs ARKY... Fumble and drop at the end

He was hurt, and was rushed IMO, but didn't look like the next AJ/Julio the some said. Lot to prove but also has time
