Barring injury, Smith will play in the NFL. Dude is a heck of an athlete, pale skin or not.
I'm Native American so it's not racist for me to use "pale skin".
Hard to see Preston Williams not developing into a topnotch receiver over the next three years. At 6'4" with that athleticism, he knows how to track the ball in the air and pluck it. That is a payable skill. He just needs a year in the program and watch out.
Josh Smith is a gamer who makes big assed plays and single handedly turned around the Georgia game. Clearly not a "number one", but he certainly can play & has been a vital part of our team thus far. Glad we have them both.
You do know Dak is a RS Senior that is 3 years older than Dobbs?
People don't realize that Dobbs is unique in the sense that he's a true junior. Most of the QBs in college football redshirt. Even a guy like Chad Kelly is a redshirt junior.
Dobbs is younger than all 3 of the QBs people say are better than him. In fact if you look at where Brandon Allen and Dak Prescott where as RS sophomores (which is essentially where Dobbs is right now), Dobbs is way ahead.
Its gonna be funny to see the excuses you clowns make next year when he's throwing for 3000 yards and 30 TDs. You'll act like what he did was unpredictable. Eventhough its easy to see right now given his talents.
I don't have anything against Josh Smith. I like him alot. Just saying that on a team with so many 4 and 5 star wide receivers, its sad when the local 3 star kid is the best of the bunch.
That 3 star, as it turns out, is a tremendous athlete, certainly better than I ever thought he'd be after watching him as a freshman. I've heard Swain talk about his ability to windmill dunk a basketball and that he is quite possibly our fastest WR. I don't think it's fair to him, at all, to suggest that if he's the best of the bunch, that the bunch sucks. It's a big, talented, athletic group that hasn't been coached in a way that remotely taps its potential IMHO.
