Von Bell for sure. I know there are other names, but I can't remember which committed on NSD or if they were other random dates.

I don't understand why folks consider Von Bell a CBJ miss. He started in a deep hole because of the previous staff and in six weeks, at least got some consideration. He had no previous relationship. No way short of a paycheck to recover two years of neglect on a player of that caliber.

Wouldn't put the Bell deal on Butch. Did everything he could at the 11th hour....Vonn was already lost because of Dooley's incompetence imo

Definitely agree on Bell. Not sold on Ramsey, but we'll never know. I can confidently say he would have had us in the fight much more than we were with Dooley for Ramsey. Probably goes without saying though.

That's the biggest reason I have hope here. If Ray isn't a vol come tomorrow Butch screwed up royally.

I'm guessing because DL isn't as big a need as WR, but LaBryan Ray is the only DL talent left worth sacrificing another WR commit... Hence why we have a WR prospect possibly waiting to pounce on the remaining spot should we miss on Ray.

I thought so too, at first, until I saw who we have on the roster, plus the DL we have committed. We're really ok, barring another injury debacle... And I'm one of those who never wants to turn away talented DLs.

We've had our downs with losing Lamar Dawson, Timmy Jernigan, Chaz Green, Carl Lawson and Eddie Lacey, but we've also had our Janzen Jackson, Bryce Brown, DaRick Rogers, Curt Maggitt, and Trey Smith.

Looks like it is Ray or bust. As of now nothing is on the board for a DT or DE unless someone after NSD pops up. I mean we rescinded Conliffes offer so all in on Ray
