If we were talking about a grey shirt, I'd agree. But blue shirting won't put him at a risk (especially with the family he's from). He'd have to show up in the summer and make some really bad mistakes before the fall to miss out on a scholarship if he blue shirted.

Scout has UT listed as the #1 school ahead of Arizona State, LSU, Maryland & Michigan. Things have been so quiet with Jalen you'd never thought we would be up there so high even though of the report posted by Eastsidevol. I would think this has a lot to do with a brother being here at UT already.

He played the entire year but most of it was at Center and not OT.

Not sure hes a take at this point unless we lose some commits. Boat is full already and they are trying to land more.

Really need DTs more now than OL.

We need a center in the future anyways, I say go ahead and give this kid a scholarship. Plus he will bleed orange and play hard for the program.

I am thinking more and more that he will be a blue shirt candidate, and count towards the 2018 class.

Would moving him to DT be a viable option? Love the OL pickups we have, just really needing to shore up our Defensive line in the middle.

Hate it for him if it doesn't work out. I'm sure he would love to be here with His brother. It's a business though.

My opinion if instate or legacy are close you take them over someone else. If not take the better player. Goal is to field best players no?
