Lets be honest Mclesky was missed by a lot of people...Look at those offers he had
Do we really think that Reggie and the coaches haven't spoken about Jalen? I mean his brother is on the dang team but the coaches are communicating with the McKenzie family? I am willing to bet Khalil just wasn't privy to what the conversation about Jalen is/was. We'll have to see how it all shakes out.
pretty sure we all can agree, Preston woulda been dynamite had he been patient.
With that said. If you can offer a Longsnapper a schollie, you find a way for a legacy big man to make it on campus. Now, all this does is gives the negative recruiters fodder.
Don't disagree on rank but hey what is James Brown ranked, 1409 by 247. What about the reach for the last minute Rb Young #2203 by 247 not ranked @ all by Rivals, the Rb who just left after Hurd and Preston Jeremy Lewis 1787 247 , I don't recall either being highly ranked. Its really similar to guys like Darrell Miller being taken over Ugo and the Cb from Chattanooga and both started as freshmen and also this yr.
Took a shot at a lower rated player and it didnt work. ...it happensDon't disagree on rank but hey what is James Brown ranked, 1409 by 247. Amazing De1 can't realize that people think he steers kids elsewhere because he badmouths UT on a public forum. No doubt he bad mouths UT to them in private.
Also, any reasonable thinking person would assume that de1 seeks out malcontents on the team. It's pretty obvious that he does.
I get the sense that de1 is either in denial about his influence and how his words come off or he just doesn't have the capacity to understand how indirect negative comments like the last few in this thread can have such an impact

Yeah, Ugo may have started. But he started for arguably the WORST Defense in football this year. And zero interceptions this season for Amadi. Not a strong argument.
Can't take a kid just cuz his whole family Vols if you feel there are better players at his position. Can we really complain about our OL haul at his positon? I mean I'm not giving up Smith and Calbert for him. Calbert potential is through the roof. Last year we took a bunch of tackles. we don't need another tackle it's pretty simple
Nash the thing is UT doesn't hv a plethora of OTs Tre Smith is a OG. They even put him here during the AA game. Richmond it looks is better suited inside too. Calbert when I saw him in Nashville at the camp is a OT but how much development will he need.

I disagree. It seems like we have a ton of OT's. I could be wrong though. I would appreciate anyone's input on how to sort the OL.
OT: Kendrick, Hall, Richmond, Tatum, Niehaus, Brooks, R. Johnson + (Smith and Calbert)
OG: Robertson, Jones, Boulware, Moseley? ( he may stay at DT)
OC: Thomas
Edit: Forgot Locklear. Is he an OT?
