I don't think at this level you should ever recruit a kid thinking he will be a role player

I posted yesterday I think 2 of the 4 QBs on your roster need be versatile/athletic enough to change positions. This kid fits that if he doesn't pop the top 2 in 2 years IMO

They believe that everyone should agree with every single decision he makes....whether it be coaching or cruiting.

Not everyone will agree. It's nature of it

If Butch wanted a higher rated QB I suppose he could have tried to steal the QB committed to William and Mary who is rated about ten spots higher QB wise. I'm not sure what W&M's facilities look like to be honest.

It seems Butch got the guy he wanted. CJ said he was #1.

I didn't read the tweets, but I did see Sab's. IMO, a lot of people are respectfully keeping quiet. Many posters don't want any discussion that isn't a glowing endorsement. It's why some of our more informative posters seldom bother anymore.

I see a lot of the 3* stuff in general, but not a ton about CJ and agree, none were directly at him. I think the outrage is because of it originating from Sab and the fact that lots folks reacted to it. My first reaction was disgust, but your posts made me think about it. It's a bad look, but You are right....Sab did not @him so....

I don't it's the disagreeing part of it. I think it's how it's stated.

Meh, my opinion is the opposite.
Too many times it's the exact same posters "disagreeing" with everything.
That is either a huge coincidence or
certain posters see or make everything negative.

I don't believe in huge coincidences.

Idk if anyone has bad mouthed him, and that shouldn't be going on at all. He seems like a good kid. I think it's completely fair to question his ability, especially looking at his offer list.
