Wow, always two camps every time a kid commits. One camp only looks at stars and determines the kids heart, work ethic, and future success based off a number. Second group pushes rainbows more than carebears and acts like he's better than Akers.
Me? I've seen 3 stars make all pro and 5 star busts taking orders at Chic fil A. Mmm CFA. On the day a KID commits tho, just celebrate the day with him as this is his dream and his family are excited for him. NO reason to take that away,
Stars go away once they put on the pads.
I like what he says on his Twitter account: "Everyday is a day to get better ☝🏾 and i will not be outworked."
FWIW, Jordan's senior stats were fairly ordinary: 149 carries for 1,131 yards (7.6 ypc) & 9 TDs in 9 games. His three highest rushing totals for the year were 313, 202 & 140 yards so those 3 games accounted for almost 60% of his total rushing yardage.
Still, his film is very impressive, IMO, and he definitely looks better than his rankings. Hard to believe that he's our lowest-rated commit at 0.7984, per the 247Sports Composite.
After watching our 3 stars films I am completely done with recruiting sites and their rankings. I don't get what they see, either they are better at evaluating or its politics or they are just guessing along with everyone else.
I'm leaning toward the latter.
Good vision.
Elusive runner, some quick shake to his style which keeps defender off balance or they miss him.
Runs with good toughness, breaks tackles.
Can catch the football.
Has the speed to go the distance.
I obviously love Ty Chandler. This young man Jordan has a similar skill set but probably not as explosive, however very capable.
Unimpressive offer list. How many diamonds in the rough can one class produce?
Don't even try here. If we had a class flooded with 4 and 5 stars and alabama had our class we'd be making fun of them and talking about how their class isn't any good. But since we have the 3 star parade they're all diamonds and don't even question it. We're like Vanderbilt fans.
