What's funny is this board loved Bruce's film at the time. Thought he would be great in the slot and at KR. Same as this kid

Bruce may still turn out to be a great player. Hard to say he won't with what happened with him here

Incorrect. 247 projects them as NFL prospects. 5* is first rounder. 4* is later in draft.

I find these threads highly amusing when I see people with some form of "Vol for Life" in their username disparaging a 17 year old kid who, in what will likely be one of the biggest decisions of their life, choosing to jump on the opportunity to play football for us when we all know each one of us (maybe, I have my doubts) would give anything for that chance.

If this kid lives up to his film and his work ethic is as good as it sounds, he will succeed. Welcome Mr. Jones.

Jones hung out with several current Tennessee receivers and also talked some football getting a better feel for the Vols' offense and his potential role in it.

“I spent a lot of time with recruits and I spent some time with Latrell Williams and Juaun Jennings. I talked a lot with Coach Z. We talked a lot about how I fit into the offense and different ways he wants to use me,” Jones offered.

After spending the weekend in Knoxville the wideout left town without any doubts. “I'm firmly committed. There's no where else for me.”

Will be interesting to see what happens. Fant, Jones, Nixon all onboard. Higgins obviously a take. If Holloman or others WRs want in, I'm not sure what happens. Especially after taking so many last class.

Well Henderson didn't make it in and Perry is academically ineligible. So there's some wiggle room.

I'll be surprised if Jones and Nixon both end up signing. Taking more than 4 WRs seems unlikely this class
